2 months baby with a lot if spit ups
Dear Dr.,Please give me your advice.My baby boy spits up a lot after every feed and sometimes he is fussy without any known reason but now i guess because of acid reflux?! i went to a chiropractor but it didnt help with reflux. i didn tell my ped. till now as i was afraid of giving him meds and i thought i just have to cope with it till it fades by itself. he is gaining weight and a good feeder but i really need ur help about his reflux. Please give him Pulsatilla 30 in the morning and evening for 3 days and see how that affects.
Dissolve a pill or a drop of remedy in some 50 ml water nicely and give 1/2 tsp as one dose. Make fresh dose every time.

i am sorry but i searched about it and i saw that it is for other symptoms maybe not for babies at all please dr. joe help me as his pediatrician checked him today and she was not impressed by his weight gain and wanted from me to put him on Zantac and i really dont want. i tasted today his spit up and i believe it is not acidic but i dont understand why all this fussiness and the affected weight.

It is very likely that your baby suffers from Gastric Reflux aka GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux Disease)
The remedy that has proved to be very effective for Baby GERD is:
Nat Phos 6x dose half tablet dissolved in milk given immediately after a feed. If you discover that baby does not respond to the half tablet you can increase the dosage to a full tablet given after every feed but not to exceed 5 tablets in 24 hours.

The Arnica is only for you and NOT for baby.
I prescribe Nat Phos 6x and Arnica 30c to people who like to reduce weight as the Arnica helps to reduce weight faster.
A trace of the Arnica will go to baby in your breast milk and this is OK.

i started Nat Phos 6x with my son yesterday half a pill after every feed i think he feels better and spitting up is less than before but i missed one dose after a feed and he spitted up a lot after that, what do u think i have to do?

You now have personal experience of how Nat Phos 6x works to help your baby.
You must give it to him after every feed and you can expect him to get over his spitting in a few weeks. Try NOT to forget to give it to him as he will spit up otherwise.

Dr. joe i was giving my baby half a tablet after every feed for a week then tried to give him a whole tablet and i noticed that he is not spitting up unless he is overfed i did this for two days now, what i should do know?

You will have to decide whether baby responds better to the half tablet or the full tablet. If you can manage to stop the reflux with half you can stay with the half or use the full tablet depending on how he reacts. And don't overfeed.
You can also try giving him half tablet dissolved in water 10 minutes BEFORE a feed as some babies respond better this way instead of after the feed.
The idea is to give him the minimum dose and you will soon discover that his digestive system has stabilised and he does not need any additional support.

I can't direct you as you are the judge to decide if the half tablet can help him. NP is quite safe in use but is not generally used for GERD as it is not listed in the medical texts. There are many other remedies that are used but none as effective as NP 6x
You can try giving half tablet before a feed and see if he responds.
