Acne scars

Hello,
I am new here. I work in a wound clinic and perform wound care. I've been there about 6 months, but I can tell you that all unhealthy skin/wounds with eschar or slough that we see needs debridement. The eschar/slough in a wound bed must be removed before granulating tissue can start to generate (get rid of the old so that new tissue can fill in and create a healing environment) I have been reading the posts here and the two things that sound most intreging to me are the Arnica and Microdermx (for acne scars). It makes sense to remove the bad and allow the body to rest/heal with Arnica. Joe also says that it helps to fill in scars. I am going to experiment these two things on some acne scar folks/and friends, and report back. I did some research on the post here on Microdermx. This is made of 99.9% pure corundum crystals, essential oils and botanicals. The other poster, curious had said that it causes a "peel" and I was curious as to what a "peel" looks like. If these two things work well together, this could bring much joy to the millions who suffer with acne/scars. I am very interested in Homeopathic medicine after I saw what a salve did for my skin cancer. I am new to it all, but very eager to learn and share. I see a holistic doctor currently, and very impressed so far.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
So the microdermx is to remove unhealthhy skin cells, so that scars can heal? Is it like an exfoliator?

where do we buy this?

Have you seen the other posts on Scars and Silicea?

I recently learned about Hydrocotyle for tissue regeneration. It is a homeopathic you can look up and read more about it here at abchomeopathy.

Thanks for sharing.

I was not impressed with the silicea thread after seeing someone post that they read the whole thread and not one person raved too much about it. In fact, there were more complaints than anything.

This is more of an abrasion/micro-derm but it's pure-fused. The crystals need moisture to work on the skin. Once they fill up, you get some peeling, then the process is complete. It's very unique to anything I've read about.

There are three sites that I know of who carry it, but we are not allowed to post them here. Just type in microdermx on a google search and you'll run on to the sites.

Report back after you try it.

OK. I will try it and let you know. Thank You for the info.

I am just getting rid of some final acne, and then I will start the Microdermx.

Thanks,

gracey

There are several sites where you can purchase different packs- one for acne, one for acne scars, and one for anti-aging.

Hope this helps.

Chemical peels dont work for scars ive had 3 treatments and see no difference. Its a waste of money. Can anyone recommend something for my scars? I

Microdermx is not peels. It is abrasion-micro but you will get a peeling as well from it. People are now trying this with the arnica. Joe said the Arnica 30c wetdose should help to fill in scars after a few months.

EARTHMOVER,

I can wholly endorse Microdermx. I've name checked it on this site on a few occasions and i've got a quote on the original site.

NB. Silicea IS effective for acne scarring - however the potency and repetition have to be exactly right and the patient may expect some re-occurance of the acne as part of the healing process. This was the main drawback reported in the silicea thread, and understandably not many want to take a risk of regressing their skin problem before the scarring can be addressed.

In my experience arnica may help with acne short-term but does nothing for scarring.

there is no 'one shoe fits all' for homoeopathy i'm afraid - so i couldn't say what is right for you just like that - sorry .. Myself, I took a 3x , succussed , and sipped a teaspoon full twice a day

Silica didn't work for me. I prefer Microdermx myself.
