Question for ZADY about Arsenicum

Hello Dr. Zady,

In one of my previous posts, you mentioned that Arsenicum Album was not the right remedy for my Anxiety and Depression. I've been taking it once a week for a month and every time I take it, my anxiety and depression get worse. My homeopathy doctor is convinced that this is the right medication for me and doesn't want to change it. I feel otherwise. I did take Phosphorus 30C, 3 pellets a day for a week, prior to the doctor switching me to Arsenicum. My results was neutral, I didn't see an improvement nor did my condition get worse. I still have a full bottle of Phosphorus 30C at home. Will this be the right medication for me? Please advise. I am 40 years old and female. My anxiety is worse at night, I frequently wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to bed because of anxiety. I tend to worry about everything, including fear of illness and fear of death. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hi,

Buy any Pulsatilla except Pulsatilla Nut.

You may buy it from Whole Foods if you are in US.

It has been prescribed for your problem.

Zady101 last decade
Dr. Zady, I purchased the Pulsatilla today and took it the way you instructed.

I was wondering why you suggested dissolving it in water instead of putting the pellets directly under the tongue. Could you explain?

correct treatment thread

Dr. Zady,

I took the Pulsatilla 30C as you suggested on Friday. There has not been any improvement and yesterday I started to feel dizzy, nauseated and very tired. Do you still want me to wait for a week and monitor the results? My energy level is low and I feel sleepy.

Donna

Yes bcoz the medicine is working.

Furthermore, for the sake of treatment, I would like to know your answers to the following questions:

1) What kind of relationship you have had with your mom and dad?

2) What kind of association you have had with your husband? Has your family accompanied you to the place where you now live or you are alone?

3) How often do you cry?

4) How do you feel in the morning when you get up?
How are you at noon time?

Zady101 last decade
1. My relationship with my mom is not very close, it took me a year to tell her I had anxiety and depression. We talk on the phone but nothing personal, just about work and how my day is going. My dad is distant and emotionally unavailable. We've never been close.

2. My husband is very supportive but he doesn't really understand anxiety and depression. He travels a lot, we have no kids and I'm alone most of the time. My sister lives close to me, my parents do not live in this country, I see them once a year.

3. These days I cry a few times a week.

4. I feel optimistic in the morning, by noon I start to feel sad again, at night my symptoms get worse.

Dr. Zady, it's been a week since I took a single dose of Pulsatilla. I am feeling pretty much the same, the anxiety and depression are still there, if anything, it's a little worse and now I'm also a little dizzy and feel nauseated. In the interest of full disclosure, I am coming off anti-depressants right now so some of these symptoms could be caused by that. Please let me know how you would like me to proceed.

Thanks, Donna

Please start taking Kali Phos 6X, 4 times a day. No of tablets to be taken depends on the size of the tablet. Dosing instructions may be found on the bottle.

Please update me after 5 days

Zady101 last decade
Should I dissolve the tablets in water or take it directly.

thanksall last decade
You can take it either way. Directly on the tongue is more convenient to people.

Zady101 last decade
Dr. Zady, my depression has not improved with the Kali Phos. Should I continue taking it?

thanksall last decade
You should not have gone off anti-depressants. But since you have done that, we will control the situation with homeopathy.

So tell me how are you feeling overall?

What are your current symptoms after the withdrawal of anti-depressants? Tell things in detail.

Ok, some basic questions again.

Do you dwell on the past?

Do you have aggravations from the Sun?

Are you allergic to milk?

Do you have digestion problems now - upset stomach, diarrhea, etc?

Zady101 last decade
Dr. Zady,

I have just emailed you and answered your questions.

Thank you,
Donna

Please repeat Pulsatilla.

Please stop Kali Phos for sometime.

Please update me after 1 week.
