This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would suggest to wait for a day or 2 & if still there is no improvement, then give her one dose of Arsenic Album-200c.

Let's see what Dr. Mehfooz says.

She tells me she has no taste, and dry lips and mouth. Is it common to have this side effect?
The anxiety continues regardless, anything she can take for that, more related to anxiety disorder maybe GAD.? Thanks

My understanding is your daughter is under the care of a
homeopath??

A side effect of Ignatia is a dry mouth. She had too much
Ignatia. It is also rather odd that the Dr. would give nat mur
first and then Ignatia. Usually it is the other way around
and then you only do one remedy and wait to see effects.

The Dr. could have started out with Ignatia 30c one dose
and waited , especially if the child is sensitive. And then
gone on from there.

This will wear off on its own if you wait it out and then
any curative effects will show up for your child. You should
wait.

What are you talking about in regard to sugar levels.
Fasting sugar levels before breakfast are around 70 to 100
After food normal is up to 140.

I am replying to recommendations. My daughter waited two -three days and the excessive thirst subsided. However, she is still experiencing some anxiety, dry lips, and perhaps a mild depression due to the anxiety. She has had anxiety since June 14, after hearing bad news. Appetite is okay, could be better, she lost about 8 pounds. Any recommendation to cure this anxiety disorder and mild depression. It seems that Ignatia did help somewhat, but it caused her sideeffects of excessive thirst.Pleae note my daughter is 42 yrs old.

I think she probably needs more Ignatia .

The dosing is the issue here. Once you take these you should
wait for 2 weeks to let them act. She is better but had a side effect bc she had too much. You need
to wait for 2 weeks after you have taken these doses.

For her, it would probably be better to take the 200c in water. Like 2 pills dissolved in
a half cup of water and take one dose after the 2 weeks have passed. And then
see how it affects and don't take any Nat Mur bc you need to see what the Ignatia is
doing. It is not instant relief, it is a process.

I think Ignatia is right, and of course not knowing what the bad news was, it does
take time to process things like grief and loss and she needs to know this is
a natural process and it will pass.

Thanks, Simon. My daughter heard bad news about her friends husband and from that moment started having extreme anxiety... The anxiety is now much better than before, however it is still here. Does ignatia help with minor depression due to,anxiety? Thanks for your reply.

Yes, Ignatia helps with grief, bad news and
ailments coming from that. The sooner people
take it when something happens the faster you
return to normal and handle things on a more
mental plane without getting emotionally knocked
off balance.

Dr. Mahfooz, you mentioned taking Arsenicum, is that for heing anxiety. Simone recommended taking Ignatia, which do I take?

Mozard last decade
Can gelsenium be used? Just curious?

Mozard last decade
Thanks, Simone. So should she take less of the Ignatia it made her really thirst, or should she take the Aresenicum? What are your thoughts on gelsenium? She tells me she really can't taste food. She felt great for two days and then Sunday she was working alot and anxiety returned with lose of appetite and she tells me she feels mildly depressed.

Hi,

That was Asad suggesting the arsenicum .

She took Ignatia and Nat Mur, and then she had an aggravation. Then the
aggravation passed and she felt ok for 2 days. Now she is having anxiety and
depression again. So the Ignatia worked , she had too much of it.

You don't switch remedies when something works. I think that she should take
another dose of Ignatia 200c 2 pellets mixed in a tablespoon of water. She
should know that she may feel tired, have some thoughts and emotions releasing
for a day or two and then feel better again.

Since you have a homeopath, I would check with the homeopath, but I would
not take Ignatia and Nat mur together again and I would only do one dose of
the Ignatia in water.

I did follow up with Naturopathy was recommended Arsenicum 200c? Would you agree to this remedy?

Mozard last decade
I would check with your homeopath on this. She may just
need a couple more doses of Ignatia at intervals and in
water so it is more gentle.

We do not have her case on here so there is not enough
to prescribe on.

Simone, my daughter continues to have dry lips and thirst. They symptoms disappeared for 3 days after taking Ignatia and then reapoeared again this week. She is hungry but because loss of taste not eating much. Is this due to high anxiety she had.. She isn't taking any meds or homeopathy for 9 days now...its an uncomfortable feeling any recommendations..thanks

Hi Mozard,

Who is treating your daughter? You, or the homeopath,
or the naturopath?

Is your daughter choosing her own doctors?

If people are under a doctor of their choice then if they
want to come on here for prescribing they have to stop
with that doctor.

They have to put their case on here and be monitored.
It is very important after you take a remedy to note
what is changing so that you know the next step.

So if your daughter wants to put her case on here and tell
what is going on with her that is fine. Or if she cannot
speak English and you want to do that with her permission
that is ok. But- you cannot have another person treating her at
the same time.

The form has to be filled out and more questions asked.
