The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Skin trouble

I am a 47 year old Indian male living in California. For the past many months I have the problem of rashes in private parts of my body. I have tried putting many kinds of topical ointments, but they only provide temporary relief.

The main problem is the area between my thighs. The jock area is specifically very much affected and is the most bothersome. It is worst in the morning hrs. After I shower, I usually apply an eczema therapy cream, which keeps the itching in control, as I go to work. But the effect of the ointment wears out towards evening and it starts to bother me again.

There are tiny dotted irruptions in the area, between the legs, and in the folds of skin, on the thigh joint. I also feel that there is a foul-smelling wetness in the area, even though I try to keep it as dry as possible, by wiping it clean and applying talcum powder.

On a related note, I also have dry cracked skin on my finger tips, and some long-lasting sand-paper like patch in the middle of my back, which itches too.

In general I feel colder than other people around me, and like to dress warmly, and sleep under a couple layers of thin quilts.

Please advise a suitable remedy.

Sorry I forgot to answer q 5.

I had severe asthma and bronchitis till my late teen years. But it was cured permanently with help of some Tibetan herbal remedies taken in Delhi.

My skin complaints started after I moved to USA, 17 yrs ago. I live in Northern California, where the weather is semi-desert. It rains in winter, and summers are dry and hot. I used to have seasonal pollen allergies too, but they have subsided with time.

Initially I started having dry finger tips, for which I applied the cream given by the doctor. Since it led to shortness of breath, I soon gave it up. I still have that problem in addition to the jock area itch, which developed mostly in the past couple of years.

Please take Graphites 6C as per the below method:

Dissolve 5 pellets (and not tablets) in 3 tablespoons water, stir several times and drink.

1 tablespoon = approx 2 teaspoons

Do this twice a day for 3 days and update me.

No coffee. Use a separate cup for dosing or disposable cups.
