Thrombosis

Hello all,

I have 2 thrombosed veins on my penis, they start at the pubic pad and run down about 3 inches along the penis.

They were caused during a surgery when my foreskin was pulled too hard.

The veins are hard and inelastic and one of them aches a bit.

I have been taking Arnica since the surgery 2 weeks ago.

Any help for this embarrassing condition would be appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is bettr you consult your surgeon first and let us know his views. He might have the remedy.

Hi Sajjad and anyone else that can help with a Homoeopathic remedy or nutritional advice for this problem,

After consulting with the surgeon who is unfamiliar with Homoeopathy as far as prescribing goes he said that the thrombosed superficial veins will heal on their own in a few weeks.

He also said that some Dr's recommend the use of Aspirin in such cases but he would rather I did not take Aspirin.

The surgeon is happy for me to use Homoeopathic remdies if you can suggest a course of action to help speed the recovery process along.

I have been taking Arnica 6 since the surgery over 2 weeks ago.

I can find no mention of Thrombosis in Genetalia in Kent's final general repertory or kunzli's edition.

Ars Alb is indicated (low type) in Thrombosis, Generalities.

I am thinking of alternating these 2 remedies.

Anyone have anything to add?

Can Thrombosis be found under another term in the Repertory?

could you explain more by what you mean - do you have an actual blood clot???

The superficial dorsal veins of the penis are hard and inelastic (due to being overstretched) and one of them aches a bit.

There are possibly clots where the veins meet the body at the pubic area, I am not sure if they are clots or where they just widen.

I would suggest treating them as varicose veins rather than thrombosed.
you could read the remedies hamamelis, arnica and others mentioned for this condition.
You could also apply arnica/hamamelis cream and/or vitamin e.

Thanks for the suggestions Erica, I will repertorise varicose veins.
