Advice on Child Vaccines
Hi there,I searched back a few pages in the forum to see if I could find anything on this topic, i'm sure it must be somewhere so forgive me if i'm repeating.
My 10 week old baby daughter is due to receive her vaccinations next week.
I would rather not put her through the vaccination process whilst my partner is very reluctant not to have her vaccinated.
We are at a vcrossroads with regards to the decision though i'm confident that it won't happen.
However in order to assist with peace of mind I was hoping to obtain some information on how the Homeopathic practise would deal with any of the conditions such as Polio etc.. should they arise later in her later life. And how effective would the treatments be from a general statistical point of view?
I hope my point is clear.
No vaccination but what can Homeopathy provide as treatment should the worst occur.
I am completely new to anything Homeopathic, though I would prefer "alternative" medicine and healthcare for my daughter should she need it throughout her life.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Get your child vaccinated.Do not run any kind of risk.Polio is curable by homeopathy but it will take at least 10-12 years.There are several medicine in homeopathic medical system but the comlete data is missing.No risk in case of little ones.I dont advise you.It is my best suggestion what i said.

The difficulty for me is that I have read through many sources which also advise that vaccines are in themselves a health risk. Specifically to the immune system, and which can manifest as other illnesses and or symptoms.

I know what your going through even the homeopaths are divided over this one.I asked this question on a different forum and was told the same thing.I did go through with the vaccine my babies were vaccinated last week.And even now I really dont know if I made the right choice.I am still not sure about the mmr jab though, i'll cross that bridge when I get to it.sorry if this post was no help, just wanted to let you know I understand your situation.I hope everything goes well for you whatever you decide. Btw check if your Homeopath vaccinates children my friends child was vaccinated with Homeopathy I dont know exactly what diseases they are vaccinated against so you will have to ask.

any information you read, for or against, should be professional so that you can make an informed choice.
no-one knows the outcome of treating someone allopathically or homeopathically in the future when they get a disease - this is an impossible question to answer.
your choice can only be the best choice you make at this time according to the knowledge you have at this time. who knows, after all, what your child will have to face as an adult. all you can do is make an informed choice as a parent regarding their childhood.

If your child has no allergies, asthma, other diseases she should be ok--but some vaccinations are ridiculous like a chance of her getting pertusis (whooping cough, after vac. is greater than without itPolio is a very serious disease and discovery of this vaccine was a blessing.
however, vaccinating a breast-fed baby, whose immunological system is not yet developed because she gets antibodies from her mother,doesn't make sense!
So, see, it is all very individualized!

Having a child with Autism I have researched a lot on this topic. It is thought that vaccines have some connections to the huge amount of children having this devestating life long disorder. There are several reports available about the toxcity in these vaccines.
I do NOT advocate NOT vaccinating your child. You should. You can however reduce the risks associated with these vaccinations by doing the following:
1. Insist that single dose vials be used instead of the multi dose vials. They cost a bit more but they are safer. They do not contain the preservatives that are thought to be harmful (note: some flu vaccines still contain mercury based preservatives, ask to see the insert to ensure they do NOT have this).
2. Insist that the vaccinations be spread out. DO NOT allow them to give your child ROUNDS of these things. It is typical that the nurse comes in with three or four different vaccinations.
3. When you give your child these vaccinations you can request at a certain point that the doctors test the child's blood to prove immunization.
4. These other posters have a valid point. These diseases that the vaccinations are preventing are devestating. With the increase in children NOT getting vaccinated there runs a greater chance of these diseases spreading.
