need help with 6 mth old acid reflux

I have had issues since birth. while breastfeeding my son went days without a bowel movement so we supplemented with milk based formula, within 5 minutes he was passing bowels and continued to do so as long as he was drinking the formula. So after a few weeks of him eating breast milk and milk based formula we noticed he was agitated. his stomach made very loud rumbles, his bowls were explosive and his rectum became very red and almost blistered and he began to spit up constantly (no projectile). His pediatrician had me remove dairy from my diet as well as switched him to soy formula. my son still had the stomach rumbles but was now constipated. I removed breast milk from the equation and have him soy formula only, but he still seemed irritable and was still spiting up and was now vomiting (not projectile). his Ped put him on Zantac at 1 month, this did not help so he was put on Axid 1 week later, each month his dosage goes up but he still continues to vomit, he doesn't seem to be in pain anymore and he is able to eat solids just fine. I started him on rice cereal at 4 mths and solids at 5 mths. I spoke with his Ped about the vomiting, so we tried another medication Omeprazole, this helped with the vomiting but he woke at night in pain, so now he is back to Zantac due to his insurance. I have split his dosage by halves and give it to him 4 times a day instead of twice a day. Everyday all day he is still vomiting, he is a very happy baby but i can't get the vomitting under control and if i don 't overlap the times he gets his medicine he starts to become irritable and vomits even more. How can i stop the vomitting and get my baby off all of this medicine?

Hi,
you can try Joe de Livera's Gerd protocol for the baby first. And see
how that works. If it does not another remedy can be used or added to this.

Purchase Natrum Phos 6x cell salt from whole foods or a health store-
or order it from Vitacost online. Cell salts are a very safe, low dose
homeopathic formulation and they look like tiny aspirin tablets. Hylands
brand is what you find in most USA stores.

Start with 1/2 of a tablet. Do not give more than 5 of these in 24 hours.
You may give the tablet immediately after a feeding. I think it is easier
to dissolve the tablet in a tsp. of water and spoon it in the child's mouth
or squirt it in with a dropper. The point being you want to make sure the
baby really ingested the remedy.

Try this out, if you get improvement after a day or so and it is not
improving then you might need to do one tablet each time instead of
a 1/2 tab. As the child gets better you reduce the dose.

Cell salts work by putting trace mineral amounts into the cells and then
the cells are working properly to digest nutrients. What is not used is
excreted and many people have had great results with this.

You can go over to Joe's site, www.joedelivera.com and look at this
on his site if you wish, he is not on the forum everyday.

See how this works for a couple days- it may be all that is needed.
