what is homeopathy?
Answer: a system of medicine whereby LIKE CURES LIKE. It requires suiting the medicine to the person for whom you prescribe.Reading numerous careless prescriptions on this forum, where some persons 'prescribe' 'favourite' remedies without any thought.
There are persons who seem to not know of the wet dose method until someone shows them - and then that becomes the new prescription. Same prescription for any and everyone with same disease. What homeopathy is this?
Any homeopath who has read later editions of the Organon knows of wet doses. Incomplete information can do harm. Read so many postings where people are trying one medicine, no complete cure.
Read Vijaykar's theories: whether you agree or not, fact is that wrong prescription on allopathic lines is no help. If a general prescription helps 10 people, it does not mean it is right method. Homeopathy is supposed to cure a person and not a symptoms or symptoms. Why are real homeopaths on this forum not objecting (passkey, bandarbabu, sajjadkarim,etc.)? Only one person has boldly stated the objections to this allopathic prescribing, and has been treated shamefully by so many who fail to understand that she is trying to help and bring out truth.
No 'discovery' to use Arnica for hairfall. Cannot use Arnica for everyone's hairfall. Cannot use Arnica for everyone's sleep problem and everyone's eczema. Cannot say Nat Sul good for anyone's asthma. Cannot say Arsenic not remedy for asthma except in SOS. Cannot say Nat Mur no good for colds. Cannot blindly prescribe Bryonia for migraines.
Within homeopathy there is room for experiment and innovation, but this is not homeopathy, this is allopathic method of prescribing homeopathic medicine.
I want opinions of proper homeopaths on prescriptions on this forum.

I believe people are coming here for guidance and suggestions, and eventually to get cured. There are lots of patients on this forum who cannot access an experienced homeopath, surprisingly there are lots of patients (from India, Pakistan, etc), where experienced homeopaths are available and medicines are darn cheap, still people flock to these kinds of forums....the reason as far as i can understand is that most homeopaths in India and Pakistan have started this profession to make money as fast as possible.....believe me there are homeopaths in pakistan who are seeing 300 patients a day, and hardly spending any relevant time with a new patient, there are homeopaths who are so biased that they wouldnt even look at any of the medical tests you carry, and only listen to your impaired sypmtoms, after which they will prescribe a cornucopia of medicines with the divine wisdom that homeopathic medicines are harmless. What has resulted out of this commercialisation of homeopathy is that people have lost faith in this wonderful science, frustrated because of their sickness, and seemingly nowhere to go.
I believe these kinds of forums have taught people about homeopathy, how to understand your disease, how to convey your symptoms to an experienced homeopath, how to benefit from others experiences (patients and homeopaths alike), etc, etc
I have some very humble advices to all patients, please discuss your problems here but dont start any medication until and unless you trust your doctor completely, stick to your homeopath for quiet sometime, have faith in him, try to educate yourself, ask pertinent questions if you are not getting healed, force him to ask you more and more questions about YOU as a person, and last but not least, try to stick with a single remedy.

I have received much guidance from homeopathic practitioners using this forum. I have spent many hours learning remedies and methods of this healing art and have no one else to ask.

In this forum professional homeopath and who are learning homeopath suppose to share their experiences and suggestions based on knowledge, logic and the experience to guide patients according to the rules it works.
To track and target remedies requires certain questions about the symptoms or clues, before any thing is prescribed, instead quick verity of remedies get posted which can be find in most cases posted in this abchomeopathy forum.
If someone does not agree with other one, or object and feedback, it should be on actual grounds instead repeating absurd words without logical grounds and knowledge to refrain such theories or statement or prescription etc.
I agree there is a room of experiments and new innovations, but that is not suppose to become a blind practice. If someone is keep suggesting the miracles of Arnica [without giving any theatrical clue and knowledge, based on homeopathy] as remedy of Hair fall, Sleeping Disoders, ezema, ED problems or cure for every problem, off-course such malpractice should be refrain by the professionals to save homeopathy's sprit and respect.

Have often cringed at the kind of prescribing that goes on here, but it is obviously acceptable to most.
I wish peole would understand that disappearance of a problem is not always a cure. Of course in a forum like this the responsibility lies with the users, but how many of them realize that a suggestion should be checked out - especially when suggestions are made with such confidence.
Please, everyone, don't use any medicine because someone tells you it has helped him and 20 other people. No homeopathic medicine has to be taken for months on end, leave alone years. This is not homeopathy.Then you might as well take a sleeping pill or an antihistamine. Don't take anything that is not specifically suited to your body and mind, except in some acute cases. Check all suggestions in a materia medica - only use a medicine that matches you and your symptoms generally, and pay attention to contras and modalities. Don't abuse this system by running to try an easy solution - it is hard work to practise homeopathy. Strangely, it is only easy when you know little and can confidently imagine its a breeze.
