myoclonic jerk
Hi, my baby is 8 month old and suffered from brain injury(BILATEML FRONTO PARIETAL ACUTE ON CHRONIC SUBDURAL HYGROMA) in the 4th month. she is getting myoclonic jerks from past 3-4 days. this generally happens once she wakes up. she gets 3-4 jerks and if I press her palms it stops, otherwise it stops on its own. she is under anti-seizure medication.please help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give her a single dose of Arnica 200 and see how that affects in a week. If there is no change give a single dose of Natrum Sulph 200 and report back after another week. Please note that doses are not to be given daily. One dose means 2 pills. Don't give anything to eat/drink 30 minutes before/after.

I am giving her home made food and she eats properly, her weight is 7.9 KG.in addition to these jerks she has the following problem also; please advise me -
1. she does not hold anything.her hands are still not supportive.
2. she had blood clots in both the eyes after brain injury. we got the eyes checked last month and right eye was fully cleared but left eye is still having clots. she does not look at anything, but her pupils are reactive and she reacts well to sunlight and room light.
3. we are going for physiotherapy but still she cannot sit on her own.

i have given her single dose fo Arnica 200 on 12th August, monday. and she got the jerk on 14th August wednesday.
please suggest what should i do next. i am afraid if this will damage the brain further.

my baby has got the jerk again now. she gets tears in her eyes when she get the jerk and hands and face front side down. she gets about 4-5 jerky moment in the interval of 2-3 seconds at one.
please advise :(

Dear Dr. Kadwa,
here is the update after one week of single dose of Arnica200. frequency of jerks have been reduced.
below problem still persists -
1. she does not hold anything.her hands are still not supportive.
2. she had blood clots in both the eyes after brain injury. we got the eyes checked last month and right eye was fully cleared but left eye is still having clots. she does not look at anything, but her pupils are reactive and she reacts well to sunlight and room light.
3. we are going for physiotherapy but still she cannot sit on her own.
just to give you background. my baby had a fall from 2 feet when she was 4 month old. and then she immediately taken to hospital and diagnosed extensively internal bleeding. she underwent head surgery twice in span of one month. surgery was required to take the blood / fluid which was causing pressure on the brain.during this period she got 5-6 episodes of seizures. before injury and after discharge from hospital she did got any seizure.
now she is 9 month. she is good physically, eats properly, good sleep, attentive;but she cannot see and does not hold on anything.
please advise next course of action and do let me know if you need more details.

Please don't give any homeopathic remedy for the time being. What does the doctor says? Why she can't see?

she is still getting the jerks though the intensity is reduced. when she get the jerk;she twitches the chin and she gets tears in her eyes. I showed her to neurologist and they have 2 more medicine to handle this jerks.

also we went for VEP test on 24th august. her optic nerves is functioning. but she still cant see/hold anything. responds to sunlight.

There was no need to add allopathic remedies if she improved with Arnica. i know that it is difficult but patience is needed in such conditions.
