Blocking feeling in ear

I am having a blocked feeling in my left ear. It happened sometime a month back too when there was a bout of tonsilitis and I got treated with anti biotics. It went away. At that time I had headache(sinusitis), running nose.
This time there is no throat infection, no running nose, no discomfort otherwise. 2 days back, I had a mild fever at night and yesterday I was feeling feverish but there was no fever. Initially for some time when I press the jaws hard, I was feeling a pain in the eustachian tube area.
Today I am absolutely fine otherwise.
But now there is no pain, but now there is just blocked feeling and I cannot hear everything properly.
Can someone please help?
