Eustachian Tube Dysfunction

Hi,

For the last two years, I have a constant sensation of clicking or ticking in both my ears. It started after a cold attack (which lasted a month) and led to enlarged tonsils as well. My tonsils were cured with the help of a local homeopath. However, the problem of ear clicking persists.

To give you some more details, the problem is much more intense on the left side where the Eustachian tube feels heavy, rubbery, and clogged. Even my left nostril is mostly blocked. I went to an ENT who diagnosed this as Rhinitis. He gave me a nasal spray but it was only temporarily helpful. Another homeopath gave me Baksons Nasal Aid spray which too was temporarily helpful in unclogging my left nostril.

As such, my problem is mainly of the left side, where the nostril is blocked, the Eustachian tube clicks a lot(when i open mouth, also I feel like consciously clicking it), and at times my left ear feels watery. Even my left tonsil and lymph nodes are slightly enlarged (as per the doctor's observation). Whenever I put any ear drops, it leads to even more complications as the ear get blocked and itchy so I do not prefer to put the, . Also, ear drop only work on the outer ear, wheereas I can feel that the problem in my inner ear, near my tonsil region.

I am anxious and sensitive person by nature and my homeopath used to say that this is the main reason for my problem. However, my ENT region has been sensitive ever since I was a child. I am a 26 year old female now.
