Chronic Kidney Infections
Hi All, I am new to homeopathy but at this point am willing to try anything. I have been struggling with kidney infections since I was a kid. At 19 I was hospitalized for the first time for a kidney infection that would not go away. I was pregnant and so even when out of the hospital I was on IV antibiotics to keep on top of the situation. Apparently the infection had gone staff. When I was 29 I started having a large amount of blood in my urine and it was discovered I had a huge stone in my right kidney which had my ureter completely blocked. I also...again, had a massive infection. They tried to place a drain next to the stone and ended up stirring the bacteria which gave me sepsis and I nearly died from the shock. Anyway, since then I have had several stones removed and am always on antibiotics for infections. I can't remember which calcium stone it is, but I do know the are calcium based. Anyway, they don't seem to pass on their own and worse they give me horrible infections. It is usually in the right kidney, although right now I have a little discomfort in my left also. I am having flank pain, right rib pain, and lower abdominal pain. The pain radiates through my hips and seems to even go into the legs. This is all typical. I also have the pain in my privates and burning while urinating. I drink a lot of water as a rule but the urine in the morning can be fairly dark with an odd odor, sometimes a little cloudy. I have been reading on here about Berberis Vulgaris...is that something I should try. When I looked at it to purchase there was several different ones at various amounts (30X, 1M etc.) As I said, at this point I am growing a little concerned that Levaquin and Cipro might not cut it anymore and am growing a bit desperate. Potency to buy is 1M.
Take only one dose of 5 pills and report back in after
7 days.
The Berberis Vulgaris Q means Mother Tincture, mother tincture
is always liquid- you click Tincture and Q will show up.
Q is the potency and this is what all the other potencies are made
from.
Both these can be ordered off the ABC remedies shop from
usa suppliers.
The other two- 6x are cell salts. The cell salts are tablets.
You cannot order them off this site, they are at whole foods
and vitacost online- put mag phos 6x CELL SALT in
the search box, etc. At whole foods they are hylands brand-
there are 12 cell salts and they are usually in a display case
with all 12.

Hi All! Well I am on day 6 of the medicine. I was doing better but today I find myself with an ache in both left and right kidneys and a little burning during urination. The pain in the right goes down through my hip and groin. Its not terribly bad, more irritating than anything. It seems is was worse this morning upon waking. Any ideas?

Its just a forum, you can hurt yourself seriously if you take homeopathic remedies without knowing the consequences. People have died because of kidney failure when using homeopathy to remove kidney stones.
It has to be done very carefully.
Mixing & matching remedies is not homeopathy and it will hurt you.
As a simple rule, only take one remedy at a time. Period.
Now in your case, I'd never have advised you to take anything other than Burb Vulg Q 5 drops daily. It would have taken around 1 year to get rid of stones without any harmful effects.
You can supplement Burb Vulg Q with your constitutional remedy and that's it.
Prescribing remedies in 1M without taking full case is quite irresponsible and dangerous.

Hi. I totally understand that. At this point though, I have nothing to lose. Trust me, I have been to the doctors and urologists a lot and have had more prescriptions of levaquin and cipro than you can shake a stick at. I am the one that has the privilege of wearing an iv around the house and store. I promise I am aware of the consequence. Just hoping that maybe something different was worth a try. ;) thank you for your time.

If you are so serious about your health, try to find a classical homeopath (who only prescribes on remedy at a time) in your area. That is your best bet.

Md's working on cncr- using remedies in an allopathic way-
they work with MD Anderson Hosp in Texas sharing info with
doctors there.
There are doctors who practice 'modern' homeopathy where
they do more than one medicine, and one of them is on this
forum from time to time and he has an additional degree in
Homeopathic Medicine Development.
He has done a case of Lyme on here on two people, classical
homeopathy could not do anything, it had to be handled differently.
It was and people were cured.
Anuj, has been prescribing for 30 years. He has very good
results. There is more to homeopathy than 'classical homeopathy'.

I'd agree that the patient has an interest in cure regardless of the form of medicine being practiced.
For the lack of better words, I'd say that been doing anything for 30 years doesn't make it right.
Doing it right makes it right :)
Homeopathy is just one form of medicine. If you want true health, you have to use integrative medicine i.e. any & all forms of medicine that get you to cure.

head of Canada homeopaths. He does not call himself a Classical
homeopath, he takes cases no one will touch, like MS, leukemia and
cures them. He has his own methadology and I am sure those
'cured' patients would be dead if he was under some 'doing it right'
protocol.

Well, I really appreciate that Anuj and Simone would take the time to try to help. I do realize there are risks, but there are risks in everything I feel, including constant antibiotics. I really am feeling better, it just concerned me that some of the pain was back again. It seems to be the problem I have with antibiotics as well. :( Anyway, thank you all very much. This may be only a 'forum' but it is nice to see that professionals and people that have 'been there done that' are willing to give ideas and care.

Hahneman, Boenninghausen, Lippe, Clarke, Herring to name a few were not crazy to stick to single remedy.
You have named Andre Saine, he might use a different method of repertorization, but he is a classical homeopath following Lippe. I hope you already know that!

Moderator, Yes people have died. I know one personally and two others via homeopath friends. Search other forums and you will know. I am not exaggerating.
Those who think homeopathy is 'harmless' are in for a very rude awakening.
Its harmless when used sensibly. Abusing remedies, especially, high potencies can be lethal.
The case that I know personally, died using a CM potency remedy when he was able to 'feel the stones in his kidney move around after taking the doses'. The stones were expelled successfully and his kidneys failed within a week of this. We were all shocked as we had never seen this. My subsequent research confirmed this.
If a person dies due to the wrong remedy prescription, do you think that homeopath is going to come forward and tell everyone???

Please read Kent for Silica and you will know what it will do in high potencies or very low potencies in patients with lungs compromised due to TB or other ailments. It will KILL them.

I can list a few cases of people who have been changed for life due to improper use of remedies. Some examples are:
