Dear Srivastava Ji

Thank you for your suggestion. I will buy these medicine and give her. Subsequently, after 4 days I will give you the update.

For my knowledge shake I wanted to know why her sweating smells so badly. Is it also related to bed wetting ?

Please give me a reply.

With regards and thanks again.

Your skin has two types of sweat glands: eccrine glands and apocrine glands. Eccrine glands occur over most of your body and open directly onto the surface of the skin. Apocrine glands develop in areas abundant in hair follicles, such as on your scalp, armpits and groin and open into the hair follicle just before it opens onto the skin surface.

When your body temperature rises, your autonomic nervous system stimulates the eccrine glands to secrete fluid onto the surface of your skin, where it cools your body as it evaporates. This fluid (perspiration) is composed mainly of water and salt (sodium chloride) and contains trace amounts of other electrolytes — substances that help regulate the balance of fluids in your body — as well as substances such as urea.

Apocrine glands, on the other hand, secrete a fatty sweat directly into the tubule of the gland. When you're under emotional stress, the wall of the tubule contracts and the sweat is pushed to the surface of your skin where bacteria begin breaking it down. Most often, it's the bacterial breakdown of apocrine sweat that causes an odor.

A bad body odor can also be caused by hormonal fluctuations such as those seen in children who are undergoing puberty, women who are experiencing menopause, or persons experiencing extreme mental or physical stress. Certain persons may also be genetically predisposed to developing a strong body odor. These are all relatively 'normal' causes of body odor.

More serious are the various disease states that can cause the development of a bad body odor. One of the most common medications that can cause a body odor is diabetes. This is particularly true when a person's blood sugars are poorly controlled and they develop a condition called ketoacidosis. This condition not only gives the breath a fruity smell but can also cause a distinctive body odor. This condition is considered to be a medical emergency and should be treated right away.

Bad body odor can also be a sign of serious liver or kidney disease where the body is incapable to processing and removing certain toxins due to the diseased organ. These conditions can be ruled out by blood tests which measure kidney and liver function.

Occasionally, an overactive thyroid can cause a problem with body odor due to the tendency of the patient to sweat excessively due to the hyper functioning thyroid gland. This is another condition that can be ruled out from physical examination and blood studies.

Less commonly, bad body odor can be caused by certain metabolic problems that a person is born with which causes certain metabolic breakdown products to be released through the skin.

Bedwetting can be stopped. It is a medical condition where the brain and bladder need to talk so the child can control the bladder. Its training.
Have you heard of enuresis alarms?
My son was wetting the bed. We used a chummie bedwetting alarm and he stopped bedwetting in 2 months.
Good luck.

AKM,

we normally don't jump from one remedy to another. Your child is not a test bed for homeopathic remedies. This is a forum where you will get advice from everyone which might not be suitable.

Since its a forum and you don't know the competence of those prescribing, ask this question when anyone is suggesting any remedy:

What symptoms were used to reach at the remedy and share the repertorization here.

You can ask this question to any competent & confident homeopath and he will oblige.

Fraudsters will shy away or feel insulted or give all sorts of silly reasons.

fitness last decade
why dont you prescribe a suitable medicine based on your repertorization .rather tan wasting your time writing long flowery sentences, and confusing every one.

To select a homeopathic remedy for any health problem, the patient has to be like an open book. As if talking to oneself and alone. Explain with detail what your problems are. Example answers are given in front of the questions. Please take guidance from these examples and reply in detail accordingly.

1. What are the symptoms of your health problem (example answer: Swollen & painful joints of elbow, knees and wrists. All others ok)
2. What makes the problem better or worse (the swelling gets less when I sleep or eat meat, it gets more when I walk. The pain gets worse when I massage or apply heat. The pain & swelling gets better when I ….)
3. How do you feel emotionally (I feel sad & depressed. Think about all bad things happened in the past. I like to be alone all the time. I like to be with friends…..)
4. Describe your personality (I am a headstrong person, very suspicious of others, very strict about discipline…. OR I am a messy person, not interested in cleaning. Don’t bathe for many days…..)
5. What occupies your mind mostly (I do a lot of daydreaming, I think about romantic getaways all the time, I keep making plans for things and never do them ….)
6. Do you normally feel hot or cold (normal but I like winter more. I keep wearing light clothes in winter even……..)
7. What foods you love & hate (I like fried foods and hate slimy foods. I like sweets more than anything else. I hate chicken and love eggs….)
8. How is your thirst (I am thirsty all the time and even after drinking ice cold water remain thirsty)
9. Any coating on tongue (some white coating on edges only)
10. Any skin problems (not now but all my life I had eczema on my arms for which I used allopathic creams)
11. Any problems with respiration (nose, chest, throat) ( I snore a lot when sleeping and sleep with open mouth)
12. Any problems with stool/urine (I have severe constipation and the stool is always like balls…)
13. Any sexual problems (I have no interest in sex, I have late periods always and are painful, with a lot of backache.)
14. Describe your appearance (I am stick thin or I am big for my size and overweight I have not always been like this I grew fat after……)

thats gr8 you want to ask a 10 year old girl about all the problems listed in para 13.

you are a genius.

anuj srivastava last decade
Thanks. Obviously you too are who can't differentiate between standard questions and specific ones :)

i can but you cant.because you are a self proclaimed genius.

Fitness and Anuj Srivastva, you both need to stop arguing. This is not an appropriate place to show your arguing/fighting skills. I think that Anuj is a little sensitive. I am not sure what both of yours background regarding homeopathy is, whether you are MD's or not? If you are not an MD, kindly write in every message that you are not a professional and this is not a professional advise. If people want to take your advise, let them, at least they will know its not a professional advise. Thank you so much and I hope you both would be good friends from now on and we all will get benefit from your experiences.

Saurav686 last decade
did you see the note at the top of the page.

anuj srivastava last decade
Saurav,

There are no MD's on this forum. There are some
homeopaths who have a practice who volunteer on here.

People can click on any posters name and see their
profile/email/website if they have one. You can also
see the all the posts of each person and read those
and get an idea of how long they have been on this
forum, how their cases went, etc.

This is an open forum and anyone can comment on
any post and suggest. People from India, Pakistan and
Bangladesh start calling anyone who gives them advice-
Doctor. Even if you tell them not to call you Doctor, they
still do it, which I think gives the wrong idea especially
to Western people who don't understand this. I have
talked to the owner of the forum about this quite
awhile back and this is why he has the line-
'this is the internet, posts are not from Medical professionals'

bc- there is no real way to check the validity of someone
saying they are a doctor-so the best way to decide on
a prescriber is to look at their history on here and
read their posts.

Homeopathy is bloody a joke. If it works fine othwise you have to roam around homeopath. It hardly works for a patient. That is why someone say it is just a placebo or just water.

Homeopath will say you try 1 after one week you try 2
after three week you try 3 and this contines as long as patent is intersted.

That is why homeopathy is low scorer compared to conventional medicine. Big joke is; you can purchase any medicine of any dosage from the shop i.e. without any prescription.

There is no science in it. that is why any person of 10th standard also can prescribe medicine by referring book and nowadays internet without having a professional degree.

In this forum some homeopath is looking for patient so that he can prescribe whatever he can. But one shroud have a standard checklist which shroud be a prerequisite to suggest a probable remedy.
In that way fitness is right from his logic.

We have to change our attitude to heal the people not spoil their health.

A K Maiti

If you like, please fill the questionnaire that I have posted above. Unless I am certain, I dont prescribe a remedy.

I definitely don't jump from remedy to remedy.

The choice is yours.

fitness last decade
AK Maiti,

The only reason people turn to homeopathy these days is when everything else fails. Homeopathy will not cure you in a week or so. I had severe tonsilitis when I was around 10 years old and doctor suggested surgery. My dad consulted a homeopath and I was given Bioplasgan No 10 by Schwabe. My dad gave me 4 tablets 3 times a day for around 6 months and my tonsils were gone for good and never again in my life (I am 32 now) I had tonsilitis again. Homeopathy treats the disease, not the symptoms, the symptoms go away when the disease is treated. Patience is very important in homeopathy. This does not mean that allopathic medicines are worthless, they are very helpful in life threatening conditions but where everything else fails homeopathy may provide the only rescue. Also, homeopathy is not placebo, a researcher published in nature journal (top most journal in science) that highly diluted remedy which did not have a single molecule of the original substance acted as original substance in activating certain receptors on the cells if dilution was done according to homeopathic principles, that is succussion. You need to consult a professional homeopath with good track record and follow his/her advise. Self treatment in homeopathy is highly discouraged and please do not take advise from a person who is not a professional homeopath as their knowledge is just peripheral.Homeopathy will not kill a person that is why anyone could purchase it and it will have a positive effect or no effect, exaggeration may take place but no one dies of taking homeopathy unless one is drinking straight mother tinctures.
Finally, homeopathy is no bloody joke. If you find it as a joke then leave this forum and consult an allopathic doctor.
