Chronic Back Pain-Herniated Disk

Homeopathic Practitioners please respond. My friend's case is breaking my heart. She recently had surgery for herniated disk that was not 100% effective. It reduced pain, but she still has much daily pain. She takes pain medication to get through the day.

What would homeopathy offer. I know pain reduction is available, what about mechanical problem with bone? Are we looking for constitutional treatment? Please guide me.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hypericum 200 in the Wet Dose can help with the alleviation of the pain. A teaspoonful can be taken 4 times daily.

I would also suggest that you use Arnica 30c in the Wet Dose to help with helping the curative process. A teaspoonful can be taken twice daily.

Please keep about an hour between each remedy if you decide to use it and report response in a few days.

I am sitting here, heavily medicated with pain killers and steroid anti-inflammatories, waiting to go off for an MRI for a suspected herniated disk. All my life I have been totally averse to the use of pharmaceutical drugs and am horrified to find myself counting the hours to my next dose to keep the pain at bay. So I was very interested to read about the effective use of arnica and hypericum but am not familiar with the term 'wet dose'. Also, at what stage do I start using them? I still have two days worth of pain-killers and the steroids.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows(Joe De Livera):

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you take a capfull which is the dose. Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before a capful of the bottle is sipped as directed.

You may use these remedies alongwith the allopathic remedies and see whether you can taper off the allopathic remedies.
