severe pmdd

I'm hoping someone can help. I have severe PMDD. I become very emotional, depressed and irritable on a regular monthly cycle. I don't get a period but I believe this irritability/depression occurs during my monthly cycle. I would like to try a homeopathic remedy but am a bit lost as to where I should start.

Please help as this is affecting my relationships at home and work as well as draining me both emotionally and physically.

Thanks!

1. Describe your main suffering?

Mostly sadness, worthlessness, exhaustion (both physical & mental), frustration, easily angered, easy to cry

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

sometimes bloating, constipation & sore breasts

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

see above

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Very lonely, sad, lethargic, worthless, frustrated

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

I've always suffered from mild depression (usually monthly). The death of my partner 2 years ago and drastic life changes have caused it to become more severe

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

At night when i go to bed and in the morning. But all in all, it's pretty consistent throughout the day.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

stressful job, a lot of work drama and conflict is hard to deal with at these times and makes me feel even worse

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

I feel these mood swings definitely come in monthly cycles. I go from feeling happy and content to extreme sadness and back again each month. 5-10 days of depression each month.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

weather doesn't play a role

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

I'm typically laid back, calm, peaceful, love to be outdoors, loving and affectionate and very passionate

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

I enjoy thunderstorms

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?

Yes, consolation makes a big difference...but I don't have any source of that any longer.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

Not any more than average I would assume

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?

no

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

I feel segregated from them. My friends and family are hours away, my partner is distant and not very open and emotional

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?

Typically if I have a nightmare it's being treated badly by my loved ones. If I have a good dream it's of love and companionship

I don't have many cravings

Normal

No, although if I eat too many tomato based sauces or red meats my digestion gets irritated

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?

i feel like a sweat a bit more than a normal woman my age

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?

Regular except during the time of the month where i'm emotional, then i become constipated

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?

I sleep on my stomach or side. I have trouble falling asleep (mostly due to my mind not shutting off) and I wake easily due to noise or light. I have a tendency to move to the couch or spare bed when i can't sleep. Sometimes I even feel the need to turn around on the bed and sleep with my head at the foot of the bed.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?

No, my new partner is not very sexual which causes a lot of tension for me as I am very sexual and passionate. This cause a lot of conflict in our relationship

Dear black Valentine,

Please give the reason you had to have that operation-
it helps to know the overall health picture.

Thanks!

my uterus didn't develop properly, it was mainly a giant cyst and my fallopian tube had wrapped around my ovary, killing it so it had to be removed.
