Chronic bronchitis, what helps?
I am coughing up mucus and my doctor told me that i have bronchitis and he said there is no medication that can help to get rid of the symptom completely. I was wondering if there is anything in other areas such as TCM, Herbalism or Ayurvedic medicine that can take away this symptom? I have tried Homeopthy for other symptoms in the past with no success, so i avoid homeopathy as it has not worked for me in the past. I searched online and found this Ayurvedic product that claims to work, it's called Divya Swasari Ras. Does anybody here know if it works? Or anyone know of anything else that might work?Barzan on 2013-10-30

Hi Barzan,
Perhaps fitness can help you here. But the 'bronchitis'
is not really the problem. The problem is you have
some type of allergy creating the mucous and it is
dripping down thru the throat into the chest. When
the mucous is dried up there won't be any bronchitis.
Often, this 'drip' or post nasal drip goes down the
back throat sinus passage, you hardly feel it and it
can go on at night quite often and one wakes up
with chest congestion.
What Dr. Mohla said is good advice, and you can
also use a nose spray that is only salt water ( sterilized)
to rid the nose of dust and pollen which will cut
down the mucous.
When the immune system is working really well,
dust and pollen and so on will not trigger this reaction.

I think you are better off trying alternates to homeopathy as I am unable to get the details that I want for successful prescription.
