Tooth Problems after amalgam replacement

I had an upper leftside amalgam filling replaced 12 days ago by my biological dentist (deep filling I'm told) and now I have pain and aching in my left cheek jaw and tooth is sensitive. My bilogical dentist thinks the nerve is dying amd they want to extract the tooth within the next few weeks. They prescribed Amoxicillin for me but I am looking into taking Arnica Montana 30C instead. I started taking colloidal silver 7 days ago. Should I take Amoxicillin and Arnica both together to try to save the tooth? I'm open to suggestions. Thank you!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What are the symptoms of pain (dull, shooting, constant, throbbing, extending to ear etc.)

How does it get better AND worse

How are you feeling mentally & emotionally

Your level of thirst

Are you feeling chilly or hot

Level of energy

Symptoms are dull pain, it feels good to put pressure on gums above tooth and also to put pressure on cheek/jaw. It extends as close as possible to the ear without being the ear itself, in front and behind the ear and goes up into temple at times. It gets better with ibuprofen but trying to avoid that the last couple days so that I can describe problem better and problem gets worse after chewing food, when I'm in bed and it is sensitive to cold temperatures. I didn't know how long until I would get a response so I did get Arnica Montana 30C right after original post and I took 6 pellets under tongue - it seems to be helping somewhat but still dull pain and noticeable more after chewing. I am feeling good mentally and emotionally, besides worrying about this tooth. I'm not overly thirsty, temperature seems normal for me and I would say I don't have as much energy as I normally do. I haven't taken any amoxicillin yet but have some ready now.

I am on the PC for next 5-10 min so need replies ASAP and can select a remedy.

Please tell what makes it better (not by medicines e.g. make it warm, cold etc)

Generic replies like feeling good won't help me. Explain how are you feeling mentally & emotionally.

So it gets worse when you are in lying in bed?

Sensitive to cold hurts or feels good

Applying pressure makes it feel good, applying a cold pack on outside of cheek and jaw seems to feel good but hard to tell. Not sure about heat is I'm in my office and I can't test that. I am feeling optimistic and hopeful mentally, I'm in a good frame of mind. I feel excited emotionally. I'm always in a good mood so not the best at describing how I feel mentally and emotionally.

It gets worse when I lay on the trouble side. It is very sensitive to cold inside of the mouth near the tooth but a cold water bottle on outside of cheek/jaw feels ok. It is difficult to get a good sleep when I don't take ibuprofen. Hot foods and liquids do not bother it.

I believe your remedy is Pulsatilla 200c.

Please take two doses 12 hrs apart. Just two doses. Not daily.

One dose is one pill. Dissolve the pill under the tongue.

Report back with changes observed.

Could you tell me what you think tthe Pulsatilla 200c will do for me? I'll try and get some later today.

It will relieve the pain & associated symptoms.

Ok, Is 30c ok? Very limited to what I can get locally so that is my only option other than waiting a week for one to be shipped. Thanks for your help.

30c may work, take 3 doses in a day and we will see.

Can I continue with Arnica Montana as well or should I cut that out?

No need of Arnica now.

Local store had 30c or 1000c - I bought both just in case. Any recommendations on how I should take the 1000c or should I? Also could you explain what you consider a dose for each option (how may pellets per dose). thanks.

Almost 2 days of your instructions and taking the amoxicillin and a very slight improvement. Anything else to try or should I give it more time?

colezy9 last decade
Which potency did you take and how much.

fitness last decade
I took 1 dose of 1000c for first day and 3 dose of 30c seconday. Today I have taken 1 dose of 30c.

So that's why its not working! You have managed to antidote the remedy by taking both 1000c & 30c.

I specifically said in the above post 'take one dose of 1000 C or 3 doses of 30c'

How did you translate these instructions into taking both 1000c AND 30c.

Anyways, now take only one dose of 1000c and we will see how it goes.
