dress syndrome
himy baby daughter aged 3 years has recurrent fever symptoms accompanied with rashes and sometimes joint pains for more than 3 weeks now. The fever touches sometimes 103.5 also. The child was admitted with above symptoms and chidl x ray was suggestive of pleural effusion. rt sided pleural tap was done, showed total counts of 860 with and lymphocytes of 90% and was on steroids. USG abdomen ws suggestive of hepatosplenomegaly. bilateral minimal pleural effusion, moderate ascites, intersitial edema of the gall bladder withsludge the doctors told us the child as symptoms related to dress syndrome ie conditions induced by drugs ie septran syrup for three weeks. The babies condition has improved after two weeks but the fever comes in once in 8-10 hours. Please HELP ME if there is any medication for treating this problems or any good doctor homeopath in Bangalore I WILL BE GREATFUL.

For prolong chronic fever plz give Ptk2 tablets of willimar schewabe company ... 3 tablets thrice daily . I am not a doctor but I know this medicine is very effective

wbc total count has come down from 44,000 to 16,100 in two weeks of treatment at manipal. the doctors do not know what the disease or infection the child is suffering from. in the hospital the child also was diagnosed with hepatitis e for which treatment has started. The doctors attribute the entire functioning of the body as autoimmune disease condition where in the body fights against the body and is likely to be DRESS SYNDROME wherein delayed drug effect on body leading to all such conditions. I REQUEST ANY DOCTOR TO KINDLY SUGGEST TREATMENT FOR CONTROLLING THE FEVER AND FULL TREATMENT FOR DRESS SYNDROME AS THE BABY IS CRITICAL
