Acne

Hello,

I was hoping somebody could help me pick a remedy for my current acne. Having no Homeopathic doctors in my area, I though this would be the best place.

I am 17 years old (female) and have had acne since the 4th grade. I started going to a dermatologist about eight years ago. I ws diagnosed with Cystic Acne. I was put on several antibiotics and topical gels with no improvement. I have gone through Accutane treatment twice. Each time, my face would clear, and after about 3 months, it would break out again. I am no longer going to the dermatologist.

I am currently taking Burdock because I was told it would clean out my blood and help the acne. I saw little imrovement, but hardly any. I am also washing my face twice a day with sulfur soap. I have been doing this for about two months now.

The acne on my face is on my cheeks, neck, forehead,and chin. On my cheeks it is very red with large pimples. I also have tiny, slightly colored pimples covering my forehead. When I was younger, I had acne on my chest and back. That went away with the Accutane but has come back now. The acne on my face and neck is very itchy.
I generally get about eight hours of sleep at night. I am a vegetarian, and my bowl movemnt is pretty regular. I also fast to clear out my system, but it shows little improvemnt on my skin. I have sometimes wondered if my acne is a reslut of stress. However, I doubt it, considering I have had it for such a long time. My menstrual cycle is regular.
