Ears

I'm confused and new to the forums. Last week I woke up and had a buzzing or ticking feeling in my right ear. Sooooo annoying, couldn't concentrate at all. I went to school hoping it would go away and it did at third hour it was gone. I was happy but so nervous the rest of the week ( it was last monday) about my ears. So I thought it was a one time thing. Today I woke up and got a drink and went to bed, I needed more sleep, there wasn't a ringing or ticking. I woke up two hours later with the same symtoms as the week before. Now it is gone again. What could it be? I didn't think tinnitus was temporary so I don't know if that is it.
