Busy, Overactive Toddler (focused not ADHD)

Hi, I am looking for help with calming down a very active toddler. She is 17months old, 30lbs, 31inches tall. She has been 'busy' since birth. She crawled at 5months, Walked at 8months and has a very clear, alert and active mind. She insisted on moving out of her crib and into a bed at 1year old and requests everything from food to movies with her words (vocabulary is 40 words approx .) I wouldn't have thought her business was a problem (besides the fact that she climbs into, out of, around or through anything) except a friend pointed out if we are all exhausted trying to keep with her, she's probably exhausted too going 100%all the time. I've looked up individual remedies to try to narrow down a constitutional but am at a loss. She is a picky eater despite being exposed to varied foods early, she prefers wheat based foods (mostly noodles). When she does sleep, it is through the night for 10hours approximately. Any ideas/suggestions would be great. Her Dad, sister and I all have constitutional remedies that help regulate us and I'd like the same for her.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please answer the following questions..

- What does she like to eat or drink?

- Can you elaborate on her mentals?

- Does she weep often or is she quite happy and cheerful most of the times?

-What is her thermal preference? Does she react to changes in temperature?

-Is she sensitive to light, sound, smell etc.

- What's her favourite past time at home?

-How does she behave infront of strangers and acquaintances?

Hi-
fyi, I had one younger sibling and also one of my children
the same way-They turned out to be very extroverted,
social people and really good athletic skills. Yes,
exhausting for the rest of us to keep up with! but many of
these qualities are part of an extrovert personality.

Thank you for the replies. She loves grains (rice or wheat pasta), pancakes, bread blueberries, ketchup, yoghurt, almond milk. Despite early exposure she is not fond of any vegtables (will pick them out of mixed dishes, even if chopped very small).

She is very outgoing and says hello to strangers, waves at cars that stop for us to cross the street etc. When upset, she will collapse onto the floor in despair no matter where we are or what we are doing.

She is cheerful most of the time. Her frustration or despair only shows up if she is over tired or hungry in general.

Her father and sister prefer to be cool but she is more like myself and prefers to be warm. Her hands are seldom cold but her feet can be chilly. She notices temperature changes and doesn't like her head to be cold.

She does not like sunlight in her eyes (she has light blue coloured eyes) and is a light sleeper (if we open her bedroom door to check on her, she will often wake from a deep sleep).

She loves to sing and finds chores fascinating at home. She loves water and will happily play with a cup of water scooping and pouring for extended periods of time.

She is often shy at first with strangers but after 10 minutes is perfectly at ease and exploring their home or talking to them.

I hope this helps give a better picture. I love the fact that she is so happy and don't want to sound like i'm taking that for granted, its the constant go go go that i'm concerned with. She almost seems unable to slow down and just relax unless it is to sleep.

She's fine. I don't think she needs any remedy. Also, I don't think any remedy can calm her down if this is her natural mental make-up.

Homeopathy brings out the natural, can never suppress it.

That's what I thought but my friend who is training to be homeopath suggested I find remedy to help her slow down as to not exhaust her system. I will take her to a fully qualified homeopath for an opinion. Thanks
