Cat with eating disorder

I have a 15 year old cat who loves to eat and eat and eat and eat and eat, until she vomits it all up. Even if I take food away from her after she has had a small stomach full, she will later on seek it out, over eat and puke up everything she ate.

It is like she does not know when she is full and cannot go w/o eating everything on a plate. She will fight her way towards food and it is so bad I have to put her in a separate room to let the others finish eating. She is so narrow-bodied, and her appetite outranks my fattest cat.

Her favorites are smoked meat and fish.

I would not say she is emaciated although she has no meat/muscle on her. Her skeletal frame is very, very narrow, unlike that of a full-framed regular feline. She looks like a snake and has bad arthritis in her his/sacral area, that is worse from touch. If you touch her and it hurts, she will swat at or bite your hand.

She prefers men and insists on sleeping on top of my male roommate or being with him at all times.

You are looking at either Tuberculinum or Lycopodium, with a poss ref to Nat mur.

Personally I would try the tuberculinum One single dose of 10m.

Please give Rhus Tox 200C, 2 pillules as a dose. Decide the frequency based on how long the effect of the previous dose lasts. It will help her arthritis also.

The obsevation in the last para of your last posting proves the law of Nature!

Besides the remedy suggestions, why dont you see a veterinary....Yrs ago i had a cat with the same problem and was diagnose with a pancreas tumor.-Good luck!
