Homeopathy to boost childs immune system: 7 year old girl

This past month has been a terrible one health wise for my 3 kids.
My 6 year old daughter started out with a fever and cough and despite trying to get over it with homeopathy, she ended up with bronchopneumonia and was given antibiotics for 10 days. After the course was over she had a urinary tract infection. Homeopathy was given, but unfortunetely it didn't improve her symptoms and the dr insisted on antibiotics. The thought of another week or so of antibiotics made me ill, but I wasn't willing on risking it. With both rounds of antibiotics she complained of nausea, body pain, and overall was moody and complained a lot.

Are these above symptoms right now?

These symptoms are right now.
She has complained about being cold and right now asked to cover up. She has a low grade fever 37,6 degrees celcius.

She also complained of her right ear aching, I looked at it (I have an otoscope) and it is a little red, not the ear drum though.

Give her a dose of Sulfur 200c, just one dose and report back.

fitness last decade
After the sulfur she seemed better. Today, 4 days later she woke up early with a fever ( 38.5 C). She has a cough and phlegm, but not too serious.

rania1403 last decade
I gave her syrup for her fever. it went down but in a few hours went up to 39.5 degrees! She has chills, has covered up with 3 blankets and constantly feels cold. When the fever goes down she uncovers. She is cheerful and also ate a bit. She says her head hurts from the heat.

Please use a reference when giving symptoms e.g. After Sulf her cough was 50% better, sore throat 40% better and so on.

If all the symptoms you posted above are the same, reply to the below.

Ok, thanks again. Should I give it in the morning or can I give it to her before bed?

asap.

Nothing has really changed since yesterday. Her fever continues to go up high. I let her be for 4 hrs and it didn't go down- it was around 39-40 degrees, so I gave her some syrup. I don't know if it contradicts the Sulphur, but she was burning up for so long.
Today, when she woke up her chest was wheezing. Later on it stopped when she started coughing. She is also coughing up more phlegm than usual, slightly yellow.

rania1403 last decade
Did you give her Sulf?

fitness last decade
If you did, repeat the dose after 12 hrs.

fitness last decade
I did. I will repeat.

Other than fever, how are the symptoms.

Fever continues, every 6-8 hrs. She still has a cough with phlegm and a runny nose. Her left eye is very red today and sore. This is a new symptom that appeared yesterday evening. She also complains now and then of feeling nauseous.

Please confirm the following symptoms:

How is she emotionally during fever
How is her throat, any pain, if yes, what makes it better or worse
Tonsils swollen or normal
Any rattling in chest
How is the tongue, any coating
Fever with same symptoms or some change
Nose block or runny, color of discharge
Cough expectoration, color & consistency

I waited a few days to update, because she was better. Her fever went down and she is feeling ok. She still complains of nausea in the morning, but it may be psychological.
I had some blood tests done and will probably get them back tomorrow. She got tested for ASTO (strep antibodies) and it was positive but low.
The dr advised us to try a Dairy Free diet for a week or so, to see if the nausea subsides. She believes that the antibiotics may be responsible for this, but the irony is that if all the tests come back she may prescribe antibiotics again for strep (which I naturally do NOT want to give her again).
She doesn't complain of being cold (90% better).
She still has some clear nasal discharge and phlegm, that is usually present when she coughs and she can't spit it up (70% better). She occassionally coughs when she goes to sleep.
She has become very fussy over food. She is old enough to know that she should avoid dairy, but I'm sure she still craves chocolate.
She also often wants to add salt to her food.
She drinks a normal amount of water, not really thirsty.

I will update the others too on their posts. The little one was tested positive for Strep, and had a swab taken too. I will know more when the tests come back, even though I assume that they do not really make a difference in homeopathic treatment.
Fitness, thank you so much for your help!

For her nausea my advise is totally opposite to the Dr. Give her yogurt with live culture, 3 table spoons at least, first thing in the morning and report back. Dannon or Stonyfield.

I am hopeful we can cure it with remedies alone.

fitness last decade
She is much better and cheerful. Only sometimes complains of nausea in the morning. She too has some nasal discharge. She says that she is cold at school, even though I make sure she is dressed well. Not so fussy over food now. A general improvement of at least 70%.

rania1403 last decade
Did you give her yogurt?

fitness last decade
Only today. I will do it everyday as you suggested. Should I still avoid other dairy?

rania1403 last decade
Avoid other dairy. If I am right about yogurt, the nausea will be gone within 24-48 hrs. Then you can stop yogurt.

fitness last decade
Give her another dose of Sulf, just one dose.
