fish bone in knee

while fishing a 30 years, married male got injured by fish bone. He caught a 20 kg fish and it's fish bone got stuck in his right knee cap. later, it was removed through surgical procedure. However after that it got inflamed and filled with pus. know he has sever pain and still limping.

Can any doctor kindly help in prescribing most effective medicine.
