Post nasal drip?
My husband has bern coughing a dry cough for 3 weeks. He went to the dr. Who said it's post nasal drip and prescribed antibiotics + nasal spray . He does not believe in homeopathy but I would like him to try, is there any homeopathic remedy he could take while on antibiotics? He is on his 3 day on antibiotics and still coughing.Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Antibiotics will work only if there is a secondary bacterial infection and the chemical covers the type of germ.
Did the doctor cultivate the germ out of a swab test to make sure he was giving the right drug?

Is this the same husband you posted on for
thinning hair?
You cannot do posts for separate issues- you will
get different people suggesting things and they
won't know what another person is prescribing and
this will backfire on you.
The drip goes down the back throat sinus passages
and causes the cough. You have to dry the drip up.
If you are using nasal spray it is best to use
a simple salt water nasal spray as the others can
be very addicting and have side effects. The salt
spray will clear germs and dust and irritants out
and then mucous membranes in the nose will start
to calm down and less mucous will be there and
the drip will stop.

Yes, same person, sorry about that. Didn't know.
He will not take remedies at the same time. Will start thinning hair remedy after he gets better with his cough.
I am still trying to figure out of 5 drops equal 5 pellets.

You can use 2 drops of liquid in a couple tablespoons of water.
Homeopaths use one drop up to about 5 drops of liquid-there is
no set rule.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately the saline solution, the antibiotics and the prescribed nasal spray didnt help at all, he is still coughing.
Any other suggestions?
(He hasnt started any other homeopathic remedies as I am waiting for him to get over the cough).
Thanks
