i am 25 years old and my weight is 137 kg,i am using phytolacca berry q in x1 potency.should i carry on with this one or i should follow any other medicine...plz help

This is a post I made on the ABC way back in 2004 on December 25, the day before the Tsunami hit Sri Lanka, a day which will forever will remain in my mind for as long as I live as I was involved in the Homeopathic after care of the many thousands of survivors immediately after the Tsunami when I was joined by members of Homeopaths Without Borders who sent 6 pairs of erstwhile Homeopaths to help me in my efforts to help them.

Basically your therapy will comprise the use of
Nat Phos 6x dose 3 tablets taken thrice daily after meals
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily before meals.

Weigh yourself today before you commence on my therapy and report your weight loss weekly when the standard loss which you can expect and has been reported is around 1kg per week.

You will also do a regular stint of at least 45 minutes of exercise which will be done by you at intensive levels, irrespective of the general feeling of tiredness that you may experience, if you wish to benefit from my Joepathy.

You will also control your diet and avoid fatty fools completely and eat in moderation to ensure that your stomach is filled to comfortable levels.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done at least 6 times before sipping a capful of the bottle as prescribed.

Please follow the following restrictions which are essential to ensure that the remedy prescribed is not antidoted:

Do not use Coffee, Cola beverages, preserved foods like sausages, ham and bacon as they contain Saltpeter.

Report your weight loss weekly when you can expect a drop of at least 1kg per WEEK.

my height is 5 ft 11 inch.Most of the fat is around my belly,breast(hence I am mail) and thighs as well.I am using fucus vesicules and phytolacca q in x1 potency.I am abstaining from fatty foods and eating peanuts,pine and fruits.....rice occaisionly,,,,,,,exercising as well...I have lost 4 kgs in this process as well.previously my weight was 142 kg.

Without knowing the cause of your obesity any efforts to address it might not work. I have not seen the cause being investigated or even asked for in Joe's post.

Its your choice if you want to spend time with Joe and learn it after a few months.

Use some common sense whenever you are seeking advise from anyone.

If you have a plant i.e. is dying due to overwatering no amount of fertilizer or sun can cure it unless the cause is not addressed.

I am fat due to lack of physical activity(perhaps).My thyroid glands are working ok.I am consulting you people for the betterment of my health and not to make experiences(even with joe).If you people could help me it will be thankful,simple is that.I do not want take in any rift between joe and fitness or anyone else..help me if u can

There is no rift. All I am saying is to make sensible & informed choices.

If your weight is due to lack of exercise AND eating a lot then nothing can help you.

If no health issues are there, then weight is related to what & how much you eat vs how much you burn.

I can guide you for making lifestyle changes which will help you get to your ideal weight & health but if you are looking for a pill-for-cure, I can't help.

1. Start eating half cup of low fat, plain, non-flavored yogurt with live cultures daily in the morning or with lunch. If you have homemade yogurt that’s the best.
2. Stop all processed foods e.g. white bread, white rice, white burgers etc.
3. Eat whole foods only i.e. whole grain bread, brown rice, brown burgers etc.
4. The bread should be high in bran content & the flour should be coarse ground.
5. Start eating a small bowl of salad at least once a day e.g. it should contain cucumber, carrots, salad leaves, tomato and any vegetable you like. Put a dressing of olive oil & raw apple cider vinegar and put some salt & black pepper to your liking.
6. Eat at least 1-2 fruits per day e.g. apple, orange etc.
7. Drink enough water so that your urine is clear. Yellow colored urine is a good indication that you are dehydrated.
8. Exercise:
• Aerobic activity e.g. Start walking at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week with your spouse/friend and achieve your target heart rate.
• Strength training e.g. Start weight training at least 20 minutes 3 days a week.

Weigh yourself every 3 days and record it.
Stop adding sugar to everything that you make.
Only rely on natural sweetness of fruits.
Eat only when hungry & stop when ALMOST full.
Don't do anything else e.g. watching TV, talking on the phone etc. when eating meals, just eat your meal.

You do all of this and you will loose half to one kg per week.

As I said, its a lifestyle change, not a diet.

You have to live like this if you want to keep the weight off.
