hiatus hernia for 2yr old baby

my baby is 2 years old now and he is facing vomitings issue since 8 months, we used to give sucrafil - DS, early in the morning, with which, vomiting will control for that day. Next day if we won't give medicine he'll vomit again. Doctor prescribed for a scan and found to be normal. Recently we've gone for endoscopy, in which, it was found that he's having small amount of HIATUS HERNIA.

Doctor said that, no medicines for that, usually it'll be there in kids, it'll automatically get settle down with age.

Now my doubt is will there be any medicine for this?
what dietary precautions we've to take for the baby?

He will never feel hunger, we only will feed him time to time. Once we've given him ZENTEL, after that, he felt hunger for a week, and no vomitings during that period.

If anybody want's I can upload his latest scan report and endoscopy report.

Doctor's suggestion is, not to give (even little amount) spicy and tangy foods. But he's splitting food without those flavours.

Any medicine for HIATUS HERNIA? or meanwhile to increase his apetite?

His height is 89 cm and weight is 13.3 kg. He's 2 years 15 days as on today.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Can you describe his general mental make-up?

What are his food cravings and aversions?

What are his thermal preferences?

Being a child, can you see any peculiar or strange thing in his nature or habit?

1. He's usually 'let it go' type, even if we take something he likes mostly from him also, we can easily divert him from that, and can give something else, he won't cry for that one, but he'll remember that, and whenever he fell down or something got him, then, he won't cry much but ask for that one (the one we've taken from him). He'll try for anything when he thinks that, he could get it, but once he realizes that it won't come to him, he won't ask for that. let me give you one small example, if I go to office, he won't cry for me, but if I go for taking bath, he'll cry for me.

2. He usually won't crave for anything, one day he likes something and the other day some thing else, even if he likes also, he won't accept much big quantity, but he usually he likes milk peda and masala biscuits, but that also if we give him daily for a week, he won't have them further for a month.

3. He don't like warmer type clothes, and we live in cool place, when we go to some hot places, he 'll sweating throughout the day without much physical activity, his father is also like that.

4. He is the first child to me, and I don't know much about other kids.

Which part of his body sweats most?

Did you ever notice sweat on his pillow?

Can you describe the smell of his sweat?

Do you think his physical activity is less than what other kids of his age do?

Is he shy of strangers?

Does watch TV? Does he get affected by what he watches there?

Dear rishimba,

1. more sweating will be in the whole upper part.

2. smell will be regular, as elders. and in our place, I can't find sweating, so I cannot tell you more details about that.

3. physical activity is not less, when compared to the other kids of his age, he's more active.

4. he'll feel shy for an hour, after that, he's okay with anybody.

5. yes, he watches TV and imitate everything over there.

You can give him CALCAREA PHOSPHORICA 12C two doses a day for some days. As soon as you see a change in his symptoms, taper off the doses to once a day for some days and then stop. Don't give him these doses for more than a week in any case.

Give the doses in empty stomach and clean mouth. Don't give him food for the next one hour.

One dose would be 2 to 3 drops in about a tablespoon of water.

Come back after 10 days and tell me if there's a response.

one small doubt rishimba,

give the dose and clean the mouth means, after swalloing only right??

as of now, he's having cold, can I give the medicine??

You WILL NOT clean his mouth after giving the dose.

You have to ensure that you don't give him milk or any food one hour before or after the dose. In this way you know that his mouth will be clean when he takes the dose.

The idea is, when the remedy is getting absorbed by the inner linings of his mouth, this process shouldn't be hampered by food or drinks.

You should NOT clean his mouth after giving the dose.

You can give the remedy now.
