sharp pain below underarm and pain radiates in the side till hips

hi ,

i am writing to find a solution for my husband's pain. it started almost 4 months back and he has gone to every possible allopathy doctors for a relief.

he is 33 yrs old very active and plays regularly. The pain comes and goes and all his reports including heart came clean. There is nothing that they could point to tell why the pain seems to be there. He gets anxiety attacks around people lately if its a large crowd of people but not always.

the pain started on the side on ribs and now he gets sharp stabbing pain when he gets ready to go to office just below his underarm and side of his chest.

one of the doctors suggested it might be Costochondritis.

Can someone help us here with the prob. It seems to be affecting his daily life.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What was going on 4 months back?

Was he doing some sports activity and got bumped, injured, or
lifted something? Did he sleep in an odd position?

The cause is important.

He does play badminton. There was nothing unusual to have got this pain. It was not due to sleeping at odd position either. There were no injuries too.

We think it might be costochondritis. Sorry in the delay to reply.
