Under Eye Circle
Hi AllI have just discovered this website as I was searching for any remedies for dark circles. Since i can remember I have had dark circles and it is getting me down. I am so paranoid about it. I was about to bye yet another £30 eye cream from Boots today, but the one I went to did not do Estee Lauder. Was a bit scepticle so searched again and read Hollyann's postings. Does Arnica really work - is this the cure I have been looking for all my life? Please let me know as I want to go out to buy this tomorrow. What do I ask for and where can I buy it from.

In order to select the best matching remedy, we needed complete symptoms, you have not described the total symptoms, however try "Stannum 30" thrice a day, for 15 days.

Is Stannum 30 another form of Arnica. My symptoms are that no matter how much sleep I get I have dark circles under my eyes. If anything, the more I sleep the more prominent they are. When I wash my face of a night, my circles are no longer black but dark red - does this help?

Dark circles around the eye could be due to various reasons.
Liver function disorder / problem, derangement / ruin of vital fluids, environmental impact, too much working, solar impact, gastro problems and others are major causes.
This also shows harmonal disbalance. Few drunkers also developed eye cirles.
Now from the above statement, you visualized your self what is the exact cause. When the cause is found then selection of remedy would be easy and effective. Just throwing medicine and say start this and that medicine sometime harm the condition and patient never recovers.
Dr. Sajid suggestion is good one but may be you have worms in your intestine, this also a cause. Tell us in detail before We suggest you the exact remedy.
About Arnica, this remedy enhance blood circulation in the body. The circles also developed due to slow blood circulation at affected area. If this is the cause then arnica could be a good choice.

as you described , if the cause of the circles around your eyes is loss of sleep,
then take " phosphorus 200"
only 3 doses after an interval of 10 minutes between each dose. then do not repeat the medicine again, and tell me the progress.

Apart from the reasons given by you for dark circles, is it possible that loss of prostatic fluid can also be a cause.
I am a chronic sufferer of prostatorhea, and i have deep dark circles under my eyes

it may be a cause,
if you have still dicharge of prostate fluid, you can use homeopathic remedy according to your symptoms.
1- If you have dicharge on any kind of emmision, and with an itch of prepuse, the remedy will be "Conium"
2-If you have discharge during stool, then you can try 1 of these remedies. "SEPEIA" "NUX VOMICA" and "SELENIUM"
3-If you have discharge after stool the remedy should be "NIT ACID"
4-If the discharge is greenish and thick then the remedy is "SILICIA".
5- If this has started after sexual accesses the remedy is "STAPHISAGRIA"

I always stay up late and then I am also suffering with the problems as under eye circle. Wow, so many ways for it mentioned here. Great!

I was interested to note that you dug up an old post dating back to 2005 shortly after I announced that I had received reports from patients that they had discovered a reduction of the colour of their dark circles around their eyes after taking Arnica 6c.

Please take Arnica 6c in the Wet dose twice daily and also apply it directly on the dark skin around the eyes as often as possible.
Report progress in a few weeks.
I would like to mention here that I had encountered harsh criticism from Sazim even at that time as although he was my patient he decided to go on the attack mode like another member today merely because he seemed to be jealous that I was helping so many patients successfully which he was incapable of doing himself. He does not post anymore on the ABC.
You may like to know that I am now 82 years of age and I still drive myself to work daily.
