If you have done diet and exercise
then you should get your thyroid
hormones checked.
Get a CBC complete blood count, and a liver panel done-
Things like thyroid, not having the liver work correctly etc
can contribute- you should work with your doctor to find
anything that maybe off in your system contributing to the
weight gain.

I've just had a full blood count done and it all came back fine. If I take my eye off the ball with regards to food it's a nightmare. I have certain food sensitivities that prevents me from eating some foods because I get a puffy face and eyes/lids
I am 58 I eat gluten free oats for breakfast, with 2 ryvita, few nuts and seeds at lunch, dinner, meat/fish vegetables, every day handful spinach and rocket and an odd biscuit. I have an eliptical trainer and do 30 - 40 mins exercise per day.
I don't have any family as mum has passed away father died 1985, no brother or sisters. I am female and have been through menopause now for 5 years.

A full blood count is called A CBC/
A liver panel blood count is testing liver enzymes, bilirubin etc
to see if the liver is processing things well, like having
enough bile salts, etc.
Thyroid hormones are another blood test.
If you want to put the blood test results on here I can look at them.
A lot of women have extra weight go on due to the drop
in hormones from menopause.
