big optic nerve

hi :

i went to the optometrist to have a new prescription for my glasses , and he found out that my optic nerve is way too big in both eyes.
nobody in my family has glaucoma , or eye pressure .
he run some tests, and the pressure in the eyes is fine, one is 12 the other one is 15 , the optic nerve looks healthy but too big.
he will run more tests like a visual field .

i would like to know if there is a remedy that can help to reduce the size of the nerve , or to prevent it to get bigger .i will have more info in a few weeks when i have the other results.
i dont want to be in regular drops, they do worse than better.

please , if anyone has an idea i will appreciate an answer.

thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homoeopathy doesn't prescribe on one specific thing to create an effect. What we do is look at the whole state of your health and prescribe a single medicine. This causes a generalized shift in your health in a positive way, which then promotes the kind of change you may be looking for.

The real question though is what are the symptoms connected to having a large optic nerve? If it is healthy, why would they be trying to change it?

hi :

thanks for your answer, yes i understand how homeopathy works, but i dont know where is the connection between my big optic nerve and other symptoms that i have.
so far, i do have other things that are treated by homeopathy in a succesfull way.

i will have more answers when i have the other tests run.

the point is that the drs, think that i am a ' glaucoma suspect ' because of the size of the nerve that is not normal.
if all the results are negative then i will have to watch it so it doesnt get worse.

i only wanted to know if homeopahty will help with that condition in particular.

Well I would say it could be treated homoeopathically, if it is the result of some kind of disease process. The reason I asked if there were any symptoms is that sometimes something which is peculiar but healthy can be isolated as a problem by orthodox medicine just because it doesn't fit into their idea of what is 'normal'. Homoeopathy tries to respect the individuality of the person rather than forcing people into predefined 'boxes'.

Generally speaking, the name of the specific physical problem does not alter the process of finding a remedy to treat.
