Crazy hormones and agnus castus

Hi everyone,

I'm seeing a homeopath to help me come off the pill after six years. I decided to come off it after getting a weird discharge and a cervical erosion (don't worry, I've been screened for STD's and am clear!)
My homeopath has put me on a detox involving thuja, nux vom and something else. She's also given me some Agnus Castus (Chaste berry) tincture, and i'm taking eight drops twice a day in water.
The thing is, I came off the pill last Sunday, and I haven't come on my period yet (it's now late thursday.) Usually I would have come on yesterday - i don't understand because as far as my body knows, I'm just on my seven day break, so I don't know why it's different.

Do you think it's to do with the remedies/tincture? It's very unlikely I'm pregnant.

Also, does anyone know what to do about the cervical erosion? Should it just clear up after my body's detoxed from the pill?

Thanks for listening!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What is different , is that your body is aware that it is NOT getting its ¨fix¨of hormones that kid it that it is pregnant.

It could take some time for it to adjust to this new set of conditions.

Homeopathic remedies , which act - at least in part - through the endocrinal system will have an imponderable affect.

Although I am a homeopath , in a case like this I would tend to follow a Naturopathic path.

Stay away from all spices - especially pepper - red meat - white bread and sugar - etc .

Drink only spring water and after about 3 weeks take one ONLY of Bellis per 1m .... each WEEK for 4 weeks.

Do an internet search on FOLLICULINUM. You will find some very interesting information on this remedy as it pertains to women coming off The Pill. It is homeopathic estrogen and has apparently been a lifesaver for many women who need to regulate their cycle after the Pill. It's also good for menopause and perimenopause.

Here are two very good websites for further info on this remedy:

and

Check out the mental picture of the remedy as well. There are some very specific mental symptoms that you may or may not match. Potency 7C is considered "a regulator" while a lower dose brings on a tardy cycle. Some homeopaths say it "only" works in LM potencies but it seems to be prescribed in varying potencies from what I can gather. You might want to find a good homeopath who knows this remedy and has worked with it and can guide your treatment.
