brain injury called Periventicular Leukomalacia(PVL) Treatment
My Son is 9 months old ,He has brain injury called Periventicular Leukomalacia(PVL), in which White Matter in brain is little lost which has affected his development and he is delaying on motor skills like neck control,sitting,crawling and may be speech and other delaysHe has vitamin d deficiency also,No teething Yet.
1.Now he can sit with help for 2-5 minutes(improvement in last 10 days with vitamin d Tonic)
2. Makes eye contact,Smiles, don't go to strangers, cries for things,Can hold things big and small in both hands,No stiffness in Body, Speaks single word.
Alopathic docs says no treatment yet, only phisotherapy and simulations can be given
I have high hope from Homeopathy and started using bartya carb 30 x 1 drop morning and 1 drop evening from last 2 days
Is this medicine and its dosage appropriate.
PLs suggest any other reference and treatment

Please describe how did the injury happen?
What are his other physical symptoms, if any?
How is his stool?
How does he react to musical sounds? Does he feel happy listening to music or get irritated?
Does he have an elder brother? If yes, can you compare his milestones to that of his elder brother?
How did you chose Baryta Carb? Did you show him to a homeopath?

I have not shown him to any homeopathy doc
1. He had partial neck stenght (almost complete now with use of vitamin D tonics-recommended by docs)
His OFC Head was little on lower side and he started gaining muscular strenghts and weight after taking vit D tonic .he gained 500gms weight in 10 days)from 7 kg earlier to 7.5kg now
2.His stool is ok and bowel movements are ok.some time loose and sometimes not that loose
3. He responds well to music and shows interest in music and sounds.feel happy or calm(we use music sometimes if he dont eat his meals to change/calm his mind)
4. His elder brother is 6 years old and goes to school and not have any problem of delayed milestones ever.

Well,
Doctors are not clear one doctor said he may have hypoglycemia (since after three days of birth he was very lazy(his blood sugar was 55-60 level,So brain Innjury may be from low level of blood sugar after few days of Birth,But his blood sugar level report of last week is 81(normal)
His mother is having hypothyroid problem detected during pregnancy and she is having thyroid medicine during pregnancy-since first followup with gynecologist from first weeks and levels were well maintained
Doctors had advised us to go for tsh levels check for baby from day 3 to5 after birth
But thyroid report was normal and development pediatrician said nothing about blood sugar or thyroid problem,he physically checked and told that we have given him (market available formula milk)milk very much that's why kid was little lazy and constipated and he told nothing to worry at that time

I feel you should wait for another one or two years till his symptoms become more perceivable, in order to discern if he really had any problem.
For now, its too early to decide on Baryta Carb.
If his teething is not showing up in the next two months, you can give CALCAREA PHOSPHORICA 30C.

I think you should stop it as continuous dosing is not recommended in any case. I agree Baryta Carb needs more dosing but we need to make sure this remedy is really indicated.
Can you compare your child's symptoms with that of other children his age and write down the delays in his milestones and mental abilities?
This would give an idea which remedy is indicated now, if at all.
For now, I feel his teething is delayed for which calc phos may be tried.

His major problem is small head/Brain size (43.2cm) and dwarfish looks
Mentally alert and responds..understands gestures and ask for going out with him ,playing videos on computer,
Just started doing bye-bye,hello,greetings

He is hypotonia and still not able to crawl ,though started getting to sitting position on his own
