dosage for a constitutional remedy

dear sir,

i have chronic gastric problem (more than 10 years) with severe leg pain (past 1 year) for which i was given the constitutional remedy platina 200.

one dose was effective for 3 days. i was informed that one dose is enough to cure the problem. but the problem has now gradually returned after 3 days.

i would like to have a second opinion on how to take the dosage. can i take 200 once every day or once in 2 days. for how long should i take it. should i increase the potency after some time with more gap between the doses.

thank you for your help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is extremely rare for one dose to be able to cure a chronic condition. It does happen, and generally in those conditions that are not pathological and generally only in those with high vitality (like children).

What does your homoeopath say about the relapse? Aren't they managing your case?

There is no such thing as a typical dosage pattern. Every case is treated individually. How often you dose depends entirely on the kind of reaction the person is having. Some people need many doses, some only need a few, some need daily doses, some need them monthly or at even longer intervals.

Your homoeopath needs to assess what has happened. How long before you can speak to them again?
