Hi,

Had taken 2 doses of Sulphur 10M. This week there was swelling/boil in the rectum and once had bleeding. The pains and burning are very severe.

Pls advise.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
10m is pretty high.

To use that potency properly you need to match the "character" of the remedy pretty closely.

IE - have hot feet in bed, be an untidy " ragged trouser philosopher", have a bowel motion soon after getting out of bed, have a quick temper and poss eczema.

BUT Sul is such a wide ranging remedy it is likely to affect someone who takes it casually . By throwing out some internal problem, in the form of a boil.

Puls or silica low potency and repeated fairly often should help

Are you certain this is a boil?

Often hemmerhoids can mimic such a thing. They burn, and itch, and sometimes can be on a nerve so it's very painful.

I would suggest witch hazel if that's what it is. I keep mine in the fridge, and saturate cottom balls, and apply if indeed it is hemmerhoids.

Feel better.

Hi Walkin,

Thought u wud recall my name. i had made my posting in bloated abdomen, constipation and bleeding piles.

I had taken 2 doses on Sulphur 10M on your advise. Last was on 6th October, when you advised for itching behind the head and waking in the night at 2 0r 3 am and then have to take a leak.

You had advised Podo 30C for a week also, which you further said to take a dose of sulphur.

Abdomen had fairly settled and was feeling much better, suddenly a few days back there appeared a swellin with severe pain and burning. Once blood also passed from the rectum. Think it must be hemmoroid?

Should I go for Podo?

By the way, as winter has set in, my skin tend to be very dry and white patches occur with severe itching. Can I apply VASELINE (with petroleum jelly)

I took Podo 30C for a week. The pain and burning has reduced, but at times still present.

Pls advise.

Dear Walkin,

Pls advise.

Though my abdomen bloatedness and constipation have fairly reduced, a swelling in the anal region created havoc. Couldn't stand the burning and pain.

I took Podo as advised by you and the result is what I have quoted above. The pain, itching and the burning subsided. This is the second time it has occured after I have started Sulphur.

The itching behind the ear still continues.Small boils below the hair (lower part of the back of the head).
Even though I took a dose of sulphur 10m in October, the itching is still present.

Another problem is at times there is a constipation and I need to apply a bit of pressure on the top part of the abdomen or need to pace a lot to feel the bowel movement.

B Wishes..Mathew
