Pain and constipation.

My mom whose age: 56 is having pain in the kidney region at the back. The pain is continous. For 3 days she is not passing stool.No desire to go to stool.Today she tried laxative castor oil to clear bowels.A day before she also tried opium 30 three doses. Still no stool. And no desire to go for stool. Pls suggest a good remedy.

Is she having any problem with urination, any pain or burning?

Yes,intense pain while urination in the urinary region. Scanty urine. AFter drinking lots of water the pain is relieved.

You need to take her to the Doctor to have her urine tested-
they can tell you in 5 minutes about whether she has an
infection or not- and she sounds like she has a kidney infection
and this is serious and has to be treated right away bc it
is going to increase fast ( and you cannot wait around to find
the right remedy at this stage)

Have her keep drinking lots of water and tell the dr. about
the constipation also.
