Remedy for larynx muscle tension for performance

Hi Everyone,

I posted on here previously regarding singing and talking issues after straining my voice.

I was scared about vocal chord damage and someone kindly suggested arsenicum album. This helped, but did not completely cure the condition.

Turns out there was never any vocal chord inflammation, just tension of of muscles around the chords...they get inflamed and tight with nervousness and use (talking and singing).

I have a performance tomorrow, any specific remedy to relax and soothe my larynx muscles? Should I continue with arsenicum or try ,' rescue remedy', Cocculus Indicus or something else?

Medical history includes inflammation, possible autoimmune nerve issues. Don't do well on anything that touches the immune system including even anti inflammatories... perhaps because they weaken my immune response.

Thanks!

Tai

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi-

your other threads are:

http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/417364

and http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/416392

I would not take anything homeopathic other than
mag phos 6x cell salt , 3 times , 4 tabs dissolved in some
warm water to ease muscle strain for the day.

You need constitutional treatment on your whole health
totality for this.

You can see a homeopath in person ( best option) work with
one via skype or phone and if you want options of
people who are classical homeopaths let me know your
area and I can give you some.

Sorry I did not see your last post on 2-7 ( did not get an email alert)

Who told you to take Arsenicum- is that on here under another poster name?

What is the dose and potency you are doing?

Thanks.

Hi Simone,

Thanks so much.

I meant ferrum phos. You suggested it, and it helped with the throat problems. I was wondering if the new knowledge that its all muscle tension/soreness would change the recommendation.

The arsenicum album was recommended by a naturopath, but I never started it.

So I should do the mag phos?

I'll email you with my area.

Thanks again for your help.

I advised Ferrum phos bc at that time it seemed as if
you had an acute condition showing up in the throat.

Turns out this is a chronic type thing, and instead of mag
phos you can also just get magnesium citrate- and take
a tsp in some hot water for today and tomorrow-

Magnesium calms and relaxes the nerves and muscles.
