Throat problems from 2 months
I am 24 years old male,smoker, having constant throat problems from the last 2 months.Most of the time I have to clear my throat resulting in clear mucus and yellow mucus in the morning.Constant throat irritation through out the day and sometimes it feels like choking and difficulty in swallowing due to dry throat. Went to doctor he prescribed me medicines for hyper acidity and GERD. After completing the full course problem is still there.Visited to homeopath many times and he has given me some medicines like sulphur 200c,spongia and drosera .Kidly help me as this is really frustrating for me.
p.s. Nothing has found in chest x ray too.I have already tried arnica 30 c in wet dose and nat phos 6x for gerd.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yeah I have considered to quit smoking and I am working on it but even If I don't smoke for a day or two the problem is still there.

Stopping smoking doesn't give overnight results. It will show gradual improvement evident within 1-2 weeks. Once you are smoke free for 3 weeks I can take up your case if you like.
I won't treat unless you are smoke free as quitting would be the biggest proof that you are serious about your health.

OK.I will try my best to quit smoking.But that means I have to be in same position for three weeks.

No, you would see substantial improvement within 1-2 weeks.
For now, start warm saline gargles 3-4 times a day.
Start drinking ginger tea. Google to learn how to make ginger tea.

I am doing salt water gargles 3 -4 times a day from the last three days and drinking a lot of hot tea and green tea.Additional to this I am taking schwabe alpha coff three times a day.Still the problem persists.

after taking ferrum phos 6x for few days along with allopathic medicines,throat is doing good .
