Very high Sexual Desire (Hypersexuality)
I am a 21 year old guy who is suffering from hypersexuality. The main problem is that my sexual desire is so high that it has interfered seriously with my daily life. I am 100% sure that now I am addicted to sex very badly. I am a person who masturbated to the point of injury to the penis. I masturbate 4 to 5 times a day even after knowing that masturbation has caused me injury to the penis. Off course, I am also suffering from erectile dysfunction because of this penis injury. This is the reason my sex addiction is so powerful. I have injured my penis due to excessive masturbation. Currently, I want to focus on religion, work and other life problems. But my sexual desire is a very big issue for me. It is very embarrassing for me, but the truth is that my sex addiction (high sexual desire) is very powerful. I request you to prescribe any homeopathic remedy with high potency that will kill my high sexual desire. I don't think that any low potency remedy can help me, this is only my personal opinion. My life is literally ruined by my high sexual desire (sex addiction). Please note that I am not taking any medicine that is causing me high sexual desire. The truth is embarrassing but I have to face it. The truth is that I was exposed to pornography at a very early age. My sexual desire is now so strong that I can not control it. That is not the correct use of 'Great indignation etc'. This symptom relates to anger and a feeling of hurt pride and injustice - usually personal injustice. This symptom has no relevance to the case so far given.
There are hundreds of remedies for Increased sexual desire. My question was why did you choose Staphysagria specifically for it, when there are many other choices. Normally in homoeopathy we would look at the rest of the case to discover other symptoms and create from them a totality to prescribe on.

What are you currently taking? I notice from the many posts you have made before that you mention taking Ph-ac and Baryta-carb regularly, which is dangerous.

Evocationer - I know that this is years later from the case, but I have to agree with rituraj. Based on the language of the case, with the feelings the patient displayed about and around his affliction, as well as the described symptoms themselves, I think the prescription might/may have helped. Albeit, granted, the details were scanty for a full picture, but the emotions were strong and the major symptoms and some of their consequences were well rounded.
