English Mastiff - Humerus Bone Issue and Ligament Tear

My 11 1/2 yr old English Mastiff, Hershel-Hooch hyper-extended his left front leg in Jan 2014. His lameness did not improve and in early March he was x-rayed and diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of front left humerus. He had never displayed lameness of front left leg prior to what I thought was an injury in January. I am not convinced he has Osteosarcoma. A definitive diagnosis would require putting Hooch through needle aspirates and bone taps and runs risk of bone fracture. I have been working with a holistic vet who said x-ray is highly suspect of Osteosarcoma, but not definitive. He felt best to treat for Osteosarcoma and has had Hooch on a five day homeopathic protocol of Hecla Lava LM/6 - (2 doses a day, every other day) and Lycopodium LM/6 - (2 doses a day, every other day). On day five he gets Carcinosin Plus 200C+3- (2 doses); then back to day one- Hecla Lava and repeat five day protocol. He started the protocol on March 25th, but for first month was at LM/3 on the Hecla Lava and Sulphur LM/6 instead of the Lycopodium LM/6. Vet also has me giving Hooch Strontium 200C- 2 to 3 times a day for pain. Hooch is also on Cell Salts 1/8th teaspoon twice a day. In addition, Hooch has torn ligaments in his knees so the vet has him also on Ruta Grav 200C- 1 to 2 times a day. The specialist vet who took x-rays of Hooch's shoulder/humerus in March decided to manipulate and x-ray Hooch's knees while he was asleep and he came out of sedation with much worse weakness in his knees. Hooch has been a very healthy dog up until Oct. 2013 when he became suddenly anemic. He was diagnosed then with ultrasound that showed tumor on spleen. Homeopathics and herbs turned Hooch around in a matter of days and we opted not to put him through a risky stomach surgery to remove the spleen. He has not (thank goodness) had another anemic episode since. His appetite is as good as always and he is a happy dog when lying down... As an in-tact male he has had urine issues past year, but cranberry capsule helped that. Latley noticed slight increase in water intake and urinating good stream most times sometime difficulty emptying bladder. Twice urinated on bed- as if he didn't know he had to go. Of course with the pain in his humerus it is not comfortable for him to get up and go out to urinate. I have increased cranberry capsules to 4 caps a day and ordered an herbal kidney support product. Hooch had weakness in knees and we figured it was torn ligaments, but he it didn't stop him from walking 30 to 45 minutes twice a day before January when he became lame on front left leg. I can tell he misses those walks, I know I do. In the 2 months on all these homeopathics I don't see improvement in his front left leg or his knees. At 175 lbs, poor guy is trying to get around on one good leg... and from non-weight bearing he has lost a lot of muscle mass in his left shoulder... it breaks my heart. I also have him on Curcumin and Boswellia for inflammation and MSM and Hyaluronic Acid for ligaments. My understanding is this type of ailment it not only destroys the humerus bone it also deposits newly formed pieces of bone into the lining tissue around the bone. Just wondering if any suggestions for different or additional homeopathics for Hooch. It would be good to get him pain relief so he could bear weight and regain muscle mass. Sorry so long, trying to provide as much information as possible. Thank you in advance for any direction.. sjeme
