dog with seizures

My dog will be 3yrs old in July. He began having grand mal seizures on 4/15/2013, 3 weeks post vaccines of rabies & combo vaccine (DDP(?)
He has been in the hospital over 8 months ago for 40 clusters, and so they put him on Keppra (starting with 500mg & now on 750mg, as needed for emergency line of treatment) and prior to that he had already been on phenobarbital 64.8mg once a day and now on it twice a day & takes twice a day potassium bromide. I am now getting concerned because he had a seizure at 2 pm yesterday, I gave him one keppra and though they are suppose to last 8 hrs, they never do, so instead of waiting for a seizure to come (since they were coming every 6 hrs) I just have been giving him one keppra every 6 hrs, so after the 2 pm dosage I gave him another keppra at 8 pm & again at 2 am. But then I woke up this morning at 4am, just 2 hrs later, to him having another seizure. I gave him yet another keppra questioning if the keppra given at 2 am had fallen between the bed covers. So after the seizure and giving him that dosage at 4 am, I looked around, no keppra. I am now very worried that his emergency line of treatment is not working for him any longer. The only thing that I noticed that has been better is he has only one seizure and not 3 or 4 before the keppra kicks in. Just a month ago I heard silica is good for detoxing, but I didn't know the dosage so I was giving him 2 500 mg pills a day. I have already lost 3 other dogs to the same vaccinations in 2013, my dog Johnny is the only one that ended up with grand mal cluster seizures (the other 3 ended up with thrombocytopenia, IMHA, and kidney failure). Please, Please help. I can't bear to lose another.

Stop all remedies.

Give him Thuja 1M, one dose and report back.

How is the dog doing.

I had to order the thuja 1M I didn't get it in the mail until approximately June 23. I have him one dose according to directions. He had seizures this past Wednesday and Thursday, July 10 and the 11th. They still were cluster and I gave him his Keppra emergency dosages as needed. I DID NOT give him any more thuja, since I hadn't written back to you yet. His cluster seizures came on with the keppra every 3 to 4 hrs, even though the keppra is suppose to last for 8 hrs. (it never has really worked for that long and in the past he has re seized 3 to 6 hrs after taking keppra. However, on a positive note, prior to the thuja 1M, his clusters even with keppra will go 4 days at least. It only lasted 2 days this time. What should I do now?

Was he seizure free after the Thuja dose, if so, for how long.

Are you serious about resolving this issue, if so, why didn't I hear from you

fitness 9 years ago
I am serious, we just moved to Texas from Florida and have been busy unpacking, looking for jobs etc.
I said I gave him a dose of thuja 1M on/about June 23rd. On July 5th he had cluster seizures again.
Please advise me what to do from here.
Thanks,
Michelle
