Oral Submucous Fibrosis - Very Worried Please Help!
Hello Sir,Trust you will be fine. My wife is 31 years old and had been chewing Gutkha (Tobaco betel nuts) for like 12 years. Last month we went to a dentist because of pain in her teeth but the dentist told us that my wife's mouth has shrunk a lot and we need to see a 'Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon'.
We went to the doctor but he told us that she needs surgery because her condition is progressed too much. I myself is a psychiatric patient and suffer from panic attacks and due to this worry I am very depressed and anxious. Its a major surgery and I don't want her to go through this.
Now its been like 20 days that she has ceased and quit this tobacco Gutkha chewing habit and now she is tobacco free but she has difficulty in eating due to small mouth opening and ulcers which come and go even after stopping this habit. She promised that she will never ever touch Gutkha or any supari or tobacco ever in life.
Sir, I want to know that is there complete treatment available for Oral Submucous Fibrosis in 'Homeopathy' without any surgical process? I want to know this because Homeopathy treats so many cases without surgery which allopathy can only cure with surgery. I myself have my hyperthyroidism cured completely by Homeopathic treatment which allopathy doctors tried for like one year without any success. I have very strong belief in Homeopathy but all I need to know that if my wife's problem is reversible and curable.
I live in UAE and I have one Homeopath here but I want to know from an expert like you that if this condition is 100% curable in Homeopathy?

give her belladona 30 as and when she has a toothache,3-4 times 5 pills.
nux vom 200,5 pills at night half an hour before dinner ones a week ,
calc flour 6x ,5 tabs three rimes a day from day 2.
feed back every 7 days.

The problem is that I cannot get any of these medicines you mentioned here without the local Homeopath's prescription. Sorry I forgot to add this in above post. Her early morning tongue is kind of whitish. Her tongue is stiffed and rigid and she cant get it out fully. Thanks.

calc flour 6x should aid in reduction and normalization of the problem has to be taken for a couple of months.you may decide to get it from india.

I am suffering from OSMF too,I am male 44 years of age and I used to chew guthka for 15-20 years, the habit has been stopped 6 years back. Presently my symptoms are
1) Loss of tastes.
2) Dry mouth.difficult swallow dry food
3) blanched mouth
Mouth opening is normal (40mm)

I will start the recommended meds ASAP. In the meanwhile i would like to add i am currently taking
1) Oxitard - from Himaalaya
2) SM-Fibro from Warren( its beta carotene, lycopne , zinc, etc)
3) applying Curenext oral gel ( curcuma longa - or turmeric extract oral gel)

i am 45 year old man. i used guthka for 25 year. and i left it 10 months ago 100%.
i am suffered from osf my mouth opening is 25-26 mm.
i often feels that my throat is not well. 1.5 years ago i visit to ent specialist and he done laryngoscopy and he told everything is normal. and your throat problem is because of osf. but in 30-40 days my throat feel discomfort. i oftenly mouth ulcer.
please suggest me what to be done. and if homeopathic medicine is available for this please suggest me.
i leaved the guthka 100% and not use anything for the substitute for guthka.

i used to have mouth ulcers earlier but now i don't have any such issue. I have restricted mouth opening, and my tongue doesn't come out fully and tongue is white coated. I don't have problem eating but i can't put a panipuri in mouth or can't eat anything of bigger size at once, it doesn't go inside.
I hv a feeling that the mouth opening is getting small by the day.
recently i had gall bladder surgery due to lot of stones and the surgeon advised me for ent consultation for restricted mouth opening. i am really scared of ent people.

thank u very much dr. i will start my meds 2moro or day after.
there is one more thing i wish to ask for ur help.
my brother was mis-diagnosed by a gastro for ulcerative colitis, later he has been re-diagnosed by a proper gastro as no such problem but normal gastro infection. after taking the meds, he is feeling slight improvement in burping and bloating but constipation remains as it is.
he has acute constipation and heaviness for the past 12 years. he has pain in the back of his head by the evening, severe bloating and tight abdomen and never feels light after going to toilet. he goes to toilet multiple times in day hoping for lightness. He is around 35 yrs old, does a stressful job in a MNC and and a bad habit of frequently eating outside. is a tee- totaller, vegetarian but is a foodie and eats out as as soon as he finds chance. he has 80 kg on 5.11 height, recently he seems to have gained some body fat though he is not overweight. not married.
Pls advise

can u pls add some medicine for a 5 kg weight loss along with these medicines as i gained weight after my gall bladder surgery due to restricted movement. I am a vegetarian and not a big foodie though i like sweets but i m totally a no-no for fast food or cola or fried / fatty items. I m currently 58 kg on 5.3
