This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Besides singing her a slow song ...
Give her Kali Phos-3X (powder) a little bit (equivalent to 2 tablets) in her mouth or milk or fruits or water. Give regularly. Perfectly safe for long durations. Will increase her intelligence in the long run. Will also make her a non-aggressive person in the growing years.

Also including Mag.Phos-6X in the above manner, will keep her free from all stomach-Gas troubles and she will prove to be literally a non-crying baby..

thankyo for yor suggestion to try kali phos and mag phos, i know nothing about these but will certainly try. i do have some coffea and pulsatilla from weleda, but do not seem to show any sign of change, my baby as never been a good sleeper during the day or night, he did have alot of wind so i would always get up to him i do fing it hard to leave him to cry, we now know that he had wind and bloated stomach because of his intolerence to milk, so he now has soya milk and this has solved that, but, he is now set in a routine he wakes after 1 to 2 hours several times a night, and i have to soothe him back to sleep, he wants to sleep but just keeps waking out of his sleep crying, well thank you again.

i was giving sma for the longest period, i have tried several because i thought his excessive fatulence was due to different milks and never questioned milk intolerance, farleys was the first formula that i gave him.

Dear friend, you just stop giving milk at night while sleeping. Better you give your baby one dose of Cypripedium Pubscens 30 in the night and Natrum Phos 3x or 6x two times a day, one dose in the early morning mixing in some lukewarm water and at noon time as well then say after a week. You will get very surprising results definitely.

Dr kumar thankyou for your adice on what to give my baby who will not sleep through the night, i do not give hime any milk during the night, i haven't since he was 5 months old, he is 8 months now and he as always been a poor sleeper, i have even tried cranosacral therapy which did not have a positive result, my baby has a routine at bed time he goes to sleep at 7 but his body clock only seems to sleep for 1 to 2 hours some times 3, not often, he then wakes crying this goes on through the night, everynight, i am not sure if he is having bad dreams! or just set in a bad routine and now relies on me attending to him and getting him back to sleep which is what i did because of his discomforts with the milk intolerance. could you tell me more about the cypripedium pubscens and the natrum phos? many thanks andjosh

As I can see, you are not able to choose between the two earlier prescriptions. Both prescriptions are superb for the set of symptoms that the prescribers have in mind, in the absence of facility for proper examination of the patient.

I am now adding to your confusion. For the following symptoms, as given by you, Belladona is the medicine:-

"Child is drowsy but cannot sleep, or starts on closing the eyes or from sleep suddenly and cries, sleeplesness".

Give half pillule of Belladona 6C, crushed, before putting him to sleep in the evening. If that does not sustain for the whole night, give the other half.

Dear friend, Cypripedium is a homoeopathic remedy that is especially given to the child as that of yours. The second remedy Nat. Phos 6x is purely biochemic medicine that is very effective and suitable to your 8 month kid. Therefore you go to a homoeopathic medical store and ask for both these medicines. Only two drops of Cypripedium is to be given while sleeping at night directly on his tongue. The second one, Nat Phos 6x give three times a day (2-3tablets of it desolving in some lukewarm water)having a gap of four hours, then report just after a week.

andjosh said any suggestions as to what will help my baby sleep?

What do you do when your baby is having trouble sleeping?
Get your baby outside and in the sun (make sure they're well protected, of course). Natural light helps reset their internal clock. If you can't get outside, place your baby's crib or sleeper near a window that gets steady, bright light. Avoid sleep-inducing activities, if at all possible, during the day. I find more information here I fallow the steps and I can say that I am a happy mom
