Lycopodium 30c
Hello-My doctor prescribed Lycopodium 30c to be taken three times - am, pm, and next day am.
The first day (6/29/14) I felt good. My motivation came back and I wanted to do things. I had more energy and a more positive outlook.
The next day (6/30/14), the same - it felt good to have motivation and to be able to get up and wash the car, etc., instead of thinking about it for weeks.
I didn't sleep well last night and today (7/1/14) I have hyperthyroid type symptoms - a pressure at my thyroid area, racy heart, hungry, can't stop doing stuff, my list that I haven't been able to do for the last six months is nearly done in one day! I also can't settle down and everything is going too fast. My thyroid was perfectly fine and has been for many years - that is not what we are treating. We are treating primarily digestive stuff.
My doctor is on vacation.
Please help! Is this a proving? Do I now have hyperthyroidism? Will it correct itself?

What is going on is the third dose was either too much
medicine, or enough that you are having an aggravation
with old things showing up.
If it is too much medicine this may last a day or so and then
wear off.
If it is an aggravation you might find that these current
symptoms last a few days and then other things you had
before that show up- and that would be a good thing, bc they
are showing up and then leaving.
Even tho you think you were just treating 'digestive' issues
homeopathy works by matching enough of your symptoms,
and this 'match' then stimulates your own life force to
clear out imbalance. Your own life force will start to clear
old things out in reverse order.
There is no way to tell what the amount of doses, potency
is really going to do until you take the remedy. Your reactions
will let your doctor know when you need more. There is
nothing to worry about, just keep note of what is going on
to report to your doctor.
