Arnica & Silicea Mix?

My personal reaction is take only ONE remedy and wait to judge the result.

Mixing remedies means that you cannot be sure which did what.

Also the duration of Arnica is 6-10 days
that of Silica is 40- 60 days.

Why do you want to gain some immoderate experiences in the field of homoeopathic drugs. You should keep one thing in your mind that the homoeopathic drugs are rather injurious than those of allopathic. Never try to do such type of experiments. One should not touch any homoeo-remedy with out consulting an experienced homoeopath.

I agree with the opinion and suggestions given by "walkin" and "Dr Kumar".
Better do not play with homeo medicines.

When results of genuine research do not fit the desired profile the negative effects are omitted by the drug company. Dr. Trevor Stammers seemed to have shown that fish oil could relieve osteoarthritis and Seven Seas paid for the research and were keen to have the results published in the Lancet. His later negative results were published but were completely omitted from the literature sent to GPs. Fisons in Cheshire were stated by the American FDA report to be conducting a "fraudulent analytical procedure " in testing asthma aerosols. One patient died after being injected with "IMFERON" and the batch that was more toxic than normal provoked allergic reactions in 3 pregnant women. An eye product was taken off the market because production standards did not meet standards of sterility.

In 1996 2 doctors were struck off for fraudulent drug trial and the 'Lancet' admitted that one in 250 scientific papers contained fraudulent data. In March 1996 Dr. Fairhurst reported for falsifying drug records, forging patients signatures and using patients as guinea pigs in drug trials without their consent. In pursuit of profit the following shows that only public outcry after many deaths can cause the withdrawal of profitable drugs. In the 10 yrs from 1983 there have been a total death roll of over 1,700 people and recorded drug injury to over 30,000 people as below . What should be emphasised is that in each and every instance a drug company researched the product , a Medical Scientists body approved the results and a Doctor prescribed the substance.

In most cases the drug companies will have another similar "me too" drug licensed and ready take up the trail of profit (and damage) so that the smooth commercial operation is uninterrupted.

HALCION the "better" sleeping pill has the side effect of turning some people into homicidal maniacs. When M/s Grundberg of Utah murdered her 83 yr old mother by firing 8 bullets into her head the pharmaceutical company Upjohn settled out of court for some millions of dollars to avoid adverse publicity depressing sales of 285 million dollars . But a Mrs Wancasser of Missouri killed her two sons and committed suicide ; an ex policeman William Freedman killed his best friend. All after being prescribed a 'better' sleeping pill. Human growth hormone extracted from pituitary glands was used to from 1959-85 to treat slow growth undersized children. Signs pointing to the bad effects of the treatment were ignored in the 70's. It can give rise to CREUTZFELD-JAKOB disease. 7 of the 1,900 patients have died of CJD and all are at risk. In Aug. 1990 Terry Newman had problems with his balance. 16 weeks later he had rapidly deteriorated into a human vegetable and died. He was 20 yrs old and had been treated with the growth hormone when young. It should be noted that CJD is a part of the phenomenology of AIDS and ARC and that the hormonal reactions of the body and are very poorly understood. They act through the lymph and blood systems both of which are deeply implicated in all symptoms of AIDS. It is therefore highly probable that hormonal treatments of all kinds can affect the immune system.

Mr. Walkin, how can you say that homoeopathic remedies can do no harm??? Give your patient first Sulphur for two-three days then give lycopodium in what potency you like then tell us the results. I am as firm as an steel rod on my views that the homoeopathic remedies are always harmful if a homoeopath is not a classical homoeopath and has not attained sufficient knowledge & experiences in this field.You should come out of the limited range of this sayings that homoeopathic drugs never do wrong.

The logical question put up by "Dr Kumar", warrants an explanation, as far as your statement says "HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES CAN DO no no no HARM" which you posted on 22 November (above).

All the classical homeopaths used to try out remedies to check what the qualities were.

I have taken Sul for 3 days and then taken Lyc - which incidentally is one of my constitutionals- and have had NO harmful results.

It is also well known ( by most) that to take Nux vom after Sul is an antisycotic.

It may be that some people who are more interested in money than in curing people - wish to generate fear.

Mr. Walkin, I wonder how did you get the patient cured with such type treatment giving Lycopodium after sulphur. Mr. KENT,the most eminent doctor of his time has laid down an instruction in his repertory "Sulph. follows Lyco,but Lyco does not follow sulph."

I have seen so many patients badly affected and reached a worst conditon, who had been treated with an alternation of Sulph and Lycopodium by some of ignorant homoeopaths.

I would appreciate Mr. Walkin's modern views in this respect. You are too good Mr. Walkin, please carry on your practice and serve the mankind.

I accept that Prof, J.T.Kent was sensible in his recommendation , but he was a high potency man , and would be talking about CM potencies and higher.

Also it would be "unwise " not dangerous . In the sense that it is dangerous to vaccinate a baby within days of birth.

There was a recent case of hydrocephaly arising from vaccines .

I would never use Silica after Mercury - without putting in Hep Sul as an intermediary.

But this does not mean it is dangerous - only unwise.

Certainly not as dangerous as -- :

Or even Doctors can be dangerous---

A family doctor deliberately ended the lives of three seriously but not terminally ill patients with massive doses of morphine, a court heard yesterday, because he had made up his mind that "their time had come to die".


But I have to accept that all generalisations are misleading.
