Dear Doctors

My mother aged 73 having a history of chronic UTI is on catheter for last 3 years. She is very weak and has a very poor appetite. Currently she has raised levels in KFT which are as follows

S.Creatnine: 1.9
Potassium : 6
Blood Urea: 55
Uric acid: 6

we are very worried about the elevated levels of Potassium as she previously also Hyper kalemia and had a lot of complications.

Kindly suggest the medicine. I shall be greatful to you

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
As the first & most basic step, I'd recommend her to start with yogurt having live cultures e.g. homemade yogurt or any good brand which has live cultures. The yogurt should be non-sweetened, non-flavored, just plain. Have her eat half a cup daily as part of regular diet and within days you should see substantial improvement in both her appetite & UTI symptoms.

thanks for replying, She is already taking it regularly for last 6 months. the current problem is due to the elevated potassium levels. Kindly advise for that as well

So basically she is a c*ncer survivor. Chemo & radiation wreak havoc on body and coming out of it is only possible if you put a lot of effort towards your diet, exercise, meditation etc. Her age is also going against her.

Q-7 Explain restless & sensitive
Does she have any bladder control
Is there any burning pain during urination
Does she have stool control

Dear Sir

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting in so much effort and time.

You are absolutely right sir, But need your guidance and support to bring her out of this health crisis.

Q- 7 Restlessness is internal discomfort which is is also not able to explain.
Sensitivity is she dislikes anything loud any long communication etc, specially in the evening till she sleeps.

She is on catheter for the last around 2.5 years. But few days back the catheter was to be changed so she remained with catheter for half a day in which she was having the feeling of urination and that was quite frequent every 20 minutes. but the volume every time was quite less 15-20 drops.

Some times she feels the burning sensation even with the catheter

Yes she has control over the stool but her motions are not regular. She normally has constipation for which she takes Isabgol.

sir for the last 2 days she is getting high fever going up to 102 F. which is a normal phenomenon when she is not given antibiotics. Even Paracetamol is not effecting the temperature.

Your remedy is: Cantharis 200c.

HOW TO TAKE THE REMEDY:
Please take one dose. Just one dose. Not daily.
Report back in 24 hrs with changes observed.

WHAT IS A DOSE:
If remedy is Pills/Pellets:
One dose is one pill.
Dissolve the pill in your mouth.

WHAT IS A DOSE:
If remedy is liquid:
Put one drop of the remedy in half glass of water, stir and take one tea spoon from it.
That’s one dose.

TIME OF DOSE:
At night before sleeping.
Don’t take any more dose or any other remedy unless I tell you.

PRECAUTIONS:
Don’t take any other homeopathic remedy during this treatment.
Give a break of at least 10 minutes before eating/drinking anything before or after taking the remedy.
During the course of treatment, don’t eat/drink anything which you have never had all your life.

HOMEOPATHIC AGGRAVATION
Sometimes the symptoms for which treatment is being done can worsen after taking the homeopathic remedy. This is homeopathic aggravation and a good sign. It usually dies down within 24-48 hrs. During this time you can use any non-medicinal means to keep yourself comfortable. If the aggravation seems excessive, you can use any & all means necessary (including taking allopathic medicines) to keep yourself comfortable. Keep your homeopath fully updated if this happens.

HOW TO GIVE FEEDBACK:
A good example of how to report your progress is by giving %age improvement for all your health problems e.g.
Headache: 30% better
Low energy level: 50% better
Anxiety: 40% better
Sadness: No change
Depression: Worse
And so on list all your complaints.
