urgent help needed please

a cousin of mine has addiction for cough syrup
how can homeopathy help with this problem plz help

We don't have remedies specifically for addiction, because addiction is a problem with a large variety of symptoms and causes. In fact you cannot cure addiction until the underlying (psychological or emotional) reason for it is cured. This means a full and proper case must be taken, given directly by the person themselves, for any genuine changes to be made.

Is he taking it because he has a chronic respiratory problem?
