Shingles (herpes) on the right side of head

My father (66 yrs) developed rashes below his right head scalp a couple of days ago, which slowly erupted into red spots and bigger rashes with itching and spread to his right cheek and below the right ear. On consulting a physician, he diagnosed with a Herpes zoster infection (shingles) and prescribed some anti-viral drugs. Now my father has itching with pain on the right side of his head especially in below the right ear, cheek and a portion of the right scalp. He has had chicken pox as a child previously. What could be an apt remedy? Kindly suggest.

Thank you so much for your quick response and the remedy. I had an additional questions:

What should be the size of the pill or globule for Rhus Tox - 200? Here they specifically ask for globule sizes when preparing a medicine. The sizes are like 20, 30 40 etc... 40 being the biggest globule.

Once again thank you sir. Really appreciate your help.
