Attn: Dr. Udaya Kumar - exotropia and shoulder tic

Dr. Udaya,

I have a nine year old who has intermittent exotropia. There are times when his eyes look perfect and then at times the right eye turns outward slightly. He also has some kind of a tic where he feels the needs to shrug his shoulder, sometimes one, sometimes both and sometimes he is perfectly fine and doesn't do this. I have given him Gelsemium 30 for the past month. His mood is definitely much better and does not get as irritable as he used to but the tic and exotropia have not gone away. Could you please advise me on how to proceed with this.

Thank you,
Rajni
